[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] For some reason, the dollarweed was bad this year. I applied the Bonus S and within 2 weeks the dollarweed was gone. My grass is very lush and green. It really looks good after mowing. I will continue to use Bonus S Next year.

It is now a few weeks later, and the grass is very lush and green, and I have almost no weeds remaining. Great product!

Killed the lawn not the weeds. Had a nice green lawn before application. Now I have large brown spots of dead grass. Used a Scott drop spreader. Didn’t have many weeds before and still have them a week later. Had a heavy rain storm 2 days after application. Lawn is centerpede and Bermuda.

You must consider the time that you spend going to buy a lawn food item, and the time that you spend getting your yard ready to apply it, applying it and watering it in, then why take a chance on buying a cheaper product with unknown results. My results have always been nothing short of spectacular. The lawn is a beautiful verdant green and the weeds are all gone. I did buy a cheaper product once and the results were less than satisfactory so I urge you to learn from my mistake!

Received the Bonus S and a day or two earlier I received a what I thought was a helpful email with the following instructions on how to apply the product: "Apply when the grass is wet from dew or sprinkling before. Do not apply if rain is in the forecast in the next 24 hours. Rain can wash the particles off of the weed leaves before it has a chance to work properly." The implication being that the weed killing is a contact effect. Yet, when I read the instructions on the back of the bag, is states to water immediately following application! And, more confusing, Scott's feedback on this board to another question was that this product should be applied to dry turf. So, if you could clarify here what is the correct application method, that would would be tremendously helpful. Thank you.

Think I had better let my neighbor in on the secret... but then again, he could win lawn of the month too! I live South Carolina and the heat and direct sun are a huge issue for growing and keeping a nice lawn. Our lawn never goes dormant, but every living green thing begins really growing in February/March depending on the year. I applied the product in Late April (I thought too late) after weeds had invaded a large part of my yard. I watered as directed and soon I had huge brown spots where the weeds had died...Not to worry! In about 2 weeks the grass had grown in and the lawn looked great! I highly recommend this product!
