Second time trying and I am sorry, but I put this down 2 weeks ago in Houston and all it did was make the clover grow greener. Dollar weed still green and all the rest of the weeds. Great hype but doesn't seem to work. Going back to using liquid spray. Also is says for Southern lawns, but ingredients is mostly nitrogen. Should be 15-5-10 for southern lawns according to agricultural extensions in my area.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Product is very easy to use, as I had use the product before, I knew it would take 10-14 days to see results. Don't put it out and go back in a couple of days and think it's not working! Will definitely get rid of dollar weed

I follow the “Scotts” application plan for Southern St Augustine yards with exception of no added products in August as I always mulch my grass and leaves and feel I’m getting an extra “free” fertilization over the year by doing that. Look at my January lawn on left to my neighbors’ none Scotts lawn on right. This photo also shows how effective the Scotts EdgeGuard is at controlling the application of the products!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got Scotts - Turf Builder Bonus Weed & Feed and spread it out onto my yard so far so good. The yard is bright green very little weeds to pick and see in my yard. I have had many comments about my yard. Very happy with the product.

Put this out a week ago and it killed almost all my grass in about seven days. The only thing it didnt kill quickly was the dollar weeds i bought it to kill. If you want to ruin your lawn youve spent lots of time and money on, this is the perfect product.

I have been using Scotts Weed and Feed for several years and have always been pleased with the results, but that is not the case this year. Several days after application, my lawn developed yellow streaks and I suspect this is where the fertilizer overlapped. In some areas the grass died. I have a neighbor whose lawn looks similar to mine and I am willing to bet he also used the same product. I think you folks got the formula wrong this time around. It has been about 6 weeks since I applied the Weed and Feed and most of the yellow has cleared up. It killed most of the clover, but I still have a few healthy patches. I don't plan to use this produce next year. Besides being very expensive, it apparently is not centipede friendly.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As a long time Scotts user and former Lawn Pro dealer, I've had a lot of experience with Scotts products. The choice to go from a vermiculite-based product to a more grainy product similar to lower-end products is very disappointing. This product will no longer effectively pass through my PF1 drop spreader, and even "gums up" in my rotary Scotts spreader. Using a rotary spreader for this product increases the chance of material falling into an unwanted zone (like a flower or shrub bed), causing damage. But with careful spreading techniques to get the product only on the lawn and not the beds, it does have the expected result of providing weed killer/preventer, and seems to have a moderate extra benefit of not requiring as much watering

I live in NE Texas. I have used this product since the mid 2000s. I swear by this stuff! It kills out all the annoying weeds, but best of all, I put this out at the end of May and again in September, and while my neighbors have to wear shoes outside, I can be confident that my grandchildren can run out the back door with no shoes on and not step on a sharp sticker big! !!!!!!WARNING!!!!! When I put it out in May, my green yard appears to almost die!! DO NOT FREAK OUT! This is just all the weeds dieing off! Those few bits of green left, is your actual grass! It will start growing back very nicely in about 2 weeks. After a few seasons of treating your yard, it won't be so bad. But believe, if you do not put this out next season, all of those old weeds will pop right back up!
