[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Having used this product in both central Florida and the South Carolina low country, I can attest to its effectiveness, though patience is required for its full effect. The weeds don't die overnight and there are other Scotts fertilizers that seem to green up faster. It's use on both Centipede and St. Augustine grasses resulted in the desired effect. A word of caution: it may be safer to use a drop spreader if you have a lot of plants nearby.

So my lawn was starting to get out of hand. The dollar weed was starting to grow again. I'm glad to have gotten a sample of the bonus s to apply in the front yard again. Now I just got to do the back. Easily applying with the drop spreader I used. Then water immediately after. Just like Scott recommend. I have a great looking yard in bout a week or so.

I have used Bonus S on my Centipede yard for the 12 years we have owned our house. It always worked well in the past UNTIL this year. Most of the weeds are still here (80%). I applied it exactly how I have in the past. I timed my application a few hours before a light rain. It was watered well but certainly not excessively. I just wonder if the formula was changed or if my weeds have built up a tolerance over the years to the point it doesn't work.

I don't normally leave product reviews, but within 7 days of using this product, I noticed a significant improvement in lawn quality, along with a noticeable decrease in weeds. Being in Eastern NC, I initially used this product in late April and approximately 36-48 hours before rain was in the forecast. I plan to use this product again in late-July or early August.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used Bonus S about a week ago, and almost all the weeds are gone. The weeds are excessively bad right now in Louisiana, so it is near impossible to get them all, but Bonus S made a huge difference!

Second year in a row I have purchased this product with the same result. More weeds and less grass. I would seek my money back but it was purchased with a gift card, now I will be forced to find a product that works as advertised. Fool me twice...my bad. You have lost a customer.

I paid good money for a product that killed one type of weed. I bought this fertilizer especially for Dollar Weed, basically the dollar weed absolutely loved the stuff along with all the other weeds in my yard. I followed the directions as listed, and basically wasted money. I bought a bottle of Weed be gone, and killed the dollar weed right off.

I purchase a bag of Bonus S (10, 000 sq ft ) for my my St Augustine lawn in Florida that had dollar weed, applied Jan8 and watered immediately after application. As of Feb 2 it did nothing to kill the dollar weed much less other weeds that start growing this time of year. Something seriously wrong with this product
