[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Scotts Turf Builder Bonus S is the only weed and feed product I use. It always keeps my lawn green and healthy looking. Being in South Florida feeding the grass is a 12 mounth a year project and Scotts is what I use and will continue to use.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I applied this product a bout a week ago, and I was able to see a quick greening and growth of grass and weeds too. Although my lawn has crab grass, clovers and dollar weeds right now, after approx. 3 days, I saw some browning on the leaves of the clovers. Not sure yet, but I believe a second treatment of this product will need to be applied within the expressed amount of time to retreat to further kill the clovers and dollar weeds. No such luck on the crabgrass, as the eradication of those are a different subject regarding a different Scott's product. The product did what it stated it would do and one can't expect much better than that. I would recommend this product for a greener St. Augustine lawn, but also suggest repeating treatment for enhanced root building and certain control of unwanted weeds. I did not rate it an overall 5 due to it not doing anything for the crabgrass weeds. Also, I was given a sample product to try by Scott's as a member of their Roots program, but this did not interfere with my honest assessment of this product.

This weed and feed absolutely did not work for us. We had a few weeds (weeds that were listed on the back of the bag that supposedly it would kill).. so we put this weed and feed down in the early spring like suggested. It was put down in the ideal temperature with adequate amount of water (we have a sprinkler system). Next thing we know... MORE weeds show up. We thought.. Okay, this is fine. This weed and feed only kills weeds that are present.. so we knew we would need to reapply it later in the spring so we waited. I honestly couldn't remember where the weeds were previously, so I didn't worry too much about it. But I made a mental note after that of where the weeds were this time. Applied later in the spring and the weeds have absolutely tripled. It didn't kill the present weeds and we have even MORE weeds now.

VERY DISAPPOINTED! Applied this product two weeks ago and yard is still full of clover and other weeds. We are seasoned home owners who have always done our own lawn care for 40+ years. After moving to Florida 8 yrs ago, the lawn care changed, but still relied on Scott's products. The yard was hand-weeded end to end one year, but still had weeds coming back AFTER applying a Scott's product. This year, we tried this new product because it specifically advertised for Southern lawns AND kills clover, dollar weed, etc. While some clover seems to have died off, not sure if that's from the colder weather or the product. MOST of the clover remains, as well as several other types of weeds. While I don't expect my lawn to be the beautiful lush green of my old house in the north, I do expect it to be grass and not total weeds, especially after applying a product. I had high hopes for this new product, but won't waste my limited money on it again.

I use this with my Scott’s spreader and the appropriate setting. 4 applications a year keeps my South Florida St Augustine green, thick, healthy and free of most weeds.

Because my lawn is small, my good neighbor and I split a bag each Spring and Fall. We have the best lawns on the block. It is a consistently reliable product that makes me and my lawn very happy. Put this down 2.5 wks. ago EXACTLY as directed in central Florida on my St. Augustine and mixed grass area. Weeds are still flourishing quite nicely and grass is no greener than before. Spoke with the big box home improvement store I bought this at and they said it can take up to 12 weeks to see results so by that time it will be mid June and the weeds will have a further chance to seed and multiply. Never again will I purchase this product. I have had better luck with other brands.
