Perfect for Me

I always hates traditional mattresses. This memory foam mattress is awesome. I've never felt such a peaceful and more relaxed sleep in years. I actually notice the decrease in tenseness in my body. My children say you can't lay on this bed without falling asleep. Highly recommended!!!!

NOT a Tempurpedic

If you are wanting the quality of a temurpedic, this is not for you. Its ok and does the job, but adults sink in deeply. I can feel the metal foundation when I roll and Im not a fat, heavy person. If for a child, this would be fine and do the trick. Over 150 lbs pay the money for something nicer.

Not bad

Originally wanted this bed for my 5th wheel.. Leaving my old queen matress behind and moving I decided to buy it for my new house. Its not as firm as a tempurpedic. I have fond memories of them from hotels..and the feeling of waking up like I never went out the night before. This isn't quite that but compared to a regular matress its very comfortable - instantly. Tempurpedic are sometimes brick hard at first then slowly soften up and cradle you. for $1000+ savings, really is there any room to complain? It does "smell" for a few days to a week but anything urethane/rubber/plastic will. the 8" is fine for men - we dont care if sheets dont fit right. however if you want sheets to "fit" height wise, women will definately want the 10-12" stack for sure. From everything I've read though the comfort factor will not matter regardless what height you pick, its the same. I'd buy another for sure and this one will probably make it's way back to the RV.

Glad I Bought It!

I was a little worried about this purchase because I was purchasing it for a daybed whose dimensions were half an inch narrower and half an inch shorter than the dimensions of this mattress. I called the manufacturer and they told me that the mattress has a bit of give in the foam and that it would work. It worked perfectly. It took this mattress about three days to reach full height. I also bought the regular size mattress for the trundle, and that one seemed to expand to full size in about a day, so I'm not sure why this one was different. Maybe it's compacted more--it's bigger yet arrives in the same size box as the regular twin. Anyway, the mattress is super comfortable. Oh, I also asked the manufacturer if it has to sit on a solid surface (like a full board) because my daybed has slats. They told me the slats would be enough support--my bed has 15 slats with a couple inches between each one. The odor from the bed is pretty strong but not horribly unpleasant. It took about 4 days to dissipate to the point where I wanted to put sheets on it. My teenaged daughter has slept on it a couple of nights and says it's comfy.

Best Value you will find for the money!

I read many reviews about this before I bought it. I was going through a hard time last year and my teenage daughter was in need of a new mattress. We are so please with this purchase. I read a lot of people who said it would be a great guest bedroom/part time use, but not for full time use. Well let me tell you that's wrong, She uses it everyday and there have been no problems. My wife loves it too and fall asleep on it all the time. We have had it about six months now and it you are thinking about getting you will not be sorry!

Great mattress, but smells bad

It's a really good mattress for the price. We got it because our son was complaining nearly every day that his back hurt when he woke up. It weighs 33 pounds, so be ready for that when it arrives. Depending on your stature, you might need someone to help you carry it. The one drawback on the whole thing is that, well, it smells. Really bad. It has a strong chemical smell and allowing it to air out for a couple of days didn't help much. We're putting some fabric softener sheets in there to try to help buffer the smell a bit. Hopefully it'll fade on its own but it would keep me awake at night. Our son doesn't seem to mind.

Comfy

What a great value for this mattress. Super comfy. I bought for two young girls. They love them. They were packed and shipped well. Very easy to set up. I was concerned about the smell but I didn't need to be. There was no smell at all. Pleased with my purchase.

Good value!

bought this for my granddaughter who is in college. It's very comfortable, however for long term use, it would be better to spend an extra $100 and get the 10 inch. I've purchased several thicker ones for our use and several for other family members. Great product and great price!

Excellent Twin Bed

We bought TWO (2) of these beds to replace our 13 and 15 year old daughters' worn out spring mattresses. Of course, when they 1st laid down on the bed, they said it was too stiff. However, after a few night of quality sleep - they are NOT complaining. In fact, they said they liked their new beds... So for the parents of these girls, we give these beds a 5 STAR rating :-)

Probably

I bought this bed in January, and I am writing this review in April, 3.5 months later. We purchased 2 Twin XL beds, and the value was great for the buy. My bed was comfortable in the beginning, but I experienced hot spots where patches of heat gave me great discomfort. The bed also began to build areas of sinking and would not plump back up like memory foam is supposed to. We also discovered mold growing on the bottoms of both beds for some reason even though we use well ventilated bed frames built for memory foam mattresses. I am going to try and return these mattresses, since I bought 2. I suppose memory foam is quite popular nowadays, but I prefer the traditional spring bed w/ maybe just a memory foam topper if I really even need that. Memory foam attracts too much dirt, moisture, and heat--- and I just need a nice place to sleep every night without worrying about sinking into a fussy mattress. I don't think the great price makes up for the trouble we are having now.
