This is our second temper-pedic mattress. The first mattress we purchased several years ago is now used in our guest bedroom. For some unknown reason, we (wife and I) convinced our self to replace the master bed mattress with a competitors product (air mattress). We had purchased extra bed sheets and even though we never open the package the dealer would not give a reimbursement after 90 days. This was 3-years ago. Big mistake! We had enough sleepless nights and decided to revisit a temper-pedic dealer. Don't we swayed so take my advise and stick with what you know and trust. Bought this mattress thinking I would really love it but I don't. Although I bought soft the mattress just feels hard. I'm having trouble adjusting to it. I read all the good reviews but laying on the mattress at the store was not a good way to determine the comfort of the mattress

I had my previous tempurpedic for 17 years and it was time to get a new one. I was really undecided between the medium and the firm. In the store the medium felt too soft and the firm felt too firm. I have alot of spinal back and neck issues so I decided to go with the firm. I figured I could always put a mattress topper on it if necessary. I'm so glad I went with the firm. No topper needed. It took about a week to get used to the firmness but now I feel like I like the support of the firmness and the conforming nature of the top layers. After sleeping on the firm now for about a month, I feel confident that the medium would definitely have been too soft for my back. For reference purposes I weigh about 230 lbs. I feel the upper layers contouring within the first few minutes after getting on the mattress. Although it's a pricey mattress compared to others, I feel it's worth it and I'm glad I went with the tempurpedic again. Definitely also glad I went with the firm.

Bought this bed with high hopes, unfortunately after sleeping on it for 5 months I absolutely hate it. I wake up every morning and feel like I was punched all over. I had some back pain a year ago that finally went away, after sleeping on this bed at first all the pain came back and had to start physical therapy again. I hate this mattress.

I'm 54 and recently purchased my ProAdapt Firm mattress and adjustable base at the Novi Home show. This mattress is the best! I should have made the investment along time ago. It is the absolutely best sleep experience I've ever had. Just sitting in bed watching my new TV with the head raised is a blessing. It's like a staycation. The purchase included 2 pillows and a sheet set and extended warranty.

As soon as I was in bed, I knew I had arrived in heaven. Such comfort as I experienced was a totally new experience. It is an anniversary gift and I didn't think our mattress was that bad until I've laid down on this one. Life will never be the same!

Love the idea of this mattress but unfortunately I wake up every morning extremely stiff and in pain. When initially looking at mattresses and talking with a sales person, we were recommended the soft mattress due to being a side sleeper/ back sleeper at times. Really wish we didn't take the advice of our sales person & got a firmer mattress. My sleep has been awful since & overall quality of life has declined. And unfortunately are stuck with a mattress that we don't enjoy.

Now that we have our new bed we are sleeping through the night which I haven't done in a long time! I greatly notice the increase in quality of sleep I am getting from my new mattress. My husband who has a bad back has also had significant improvement in just a few weeks and is in a lot less pain. Best purchase ever! Wish we had done it earlier!

We purchased a Pro-Adapt Firm, knowing we have 90 days to try it and purchase a different model if that one didn't work for us. After a month, we decided to upgrade. The payment system was apparently down and it took a week to get through to anyone to process the payment. We paid over $2,000 more for the upgrade over a month and a half ago. We still have not received the mattress. I've spent 3.5 hours on the phone on various holds over a couple days, only to be told that the delivery company for some reason has not scheduled the delivery. I was told I would get an answer on this and a delivery date within 24 hours. This was a week ago and I am now on the phone again, trying to get through to someone. I've been on hold for ___ minutes so far and still no one was picked up. I'm on an endless loop of an automated message. Do not buy from Tempurpedic online. If I had to do it over again, I would not buy from them at all. This has been incredibly frustrating.

Bought this to replace my son's bed and he loves it. He sleeps better and says it is very comfortable. We did get an adjustable base, and he really likes to zero gravity feature. Sometimes he has to lay flat though if he is moving around a lot, the zero gravity prevents his turning over all the way.
