Showroom firm mattress was very comfortable. The firm mattress I recieved is almost like sleeping on a table. My 30 days are almost up and I will be exchanging it for a medium hybrid. I wish there was a longer trial period to see how long it takes to soften up because the showroom mattress felt great.

The first couple of nights took some getting used to, but after that it was great. Very good temperature, very firm but adjusts to one's body shape. Best sleep in years and my wife's snoring is way down. It was easily twice the price of the next mattress but it is worth it. I added four KS foam pillows to go with it. Very comfortable.

We purchased the pro adapt hybrid mattress for my husbands painful back but the bed not only helped his back it made a huge difference for my neck. I've had neck surgery and just lived with stiffness and pain. After sleeping on this bed for a week or so , I noticed that my neck and shoulders were relaxed with much less pain! We will never change to a different type bed now!

We were both suffering pain in neck, shoulder and hips prior to purchasing the ProAdapt medium hybrid. Granted our very expensive name brand pillow top was 12 years old, we both ceased having pain from day one. Combined with the Ergo frame, subtle adjustments to head and feet positions have given us the best nights sleep we have had in years. Both the mattress and frame are very high quality. We absolutely love our new bed and expect years of comfort.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This mattress is a little too soft, difficult to get in and out of and unfortunately too warm to sleep in...I have to keep the temperature very low in the house while sleeping. The adjustable base is a nice added feature and the pillows are very nice. I will be returning the mattress.

The first night I slept in my new bed I went right to sleep. No tossing an turning absolute comfort. I just had my hips replaced and had a great deal of trouble sleeping. This is the first time I awoke with no headache or backache. I just love it an it makes me want to go to bed earlier than I use to.

I credit this to the lack of transfer of motion and the temperature control of this mattress. I never feel my husband getting in our out of the bed and neither of us sleep hot anymore. Never had such extreme pain in shoulders and hip with tingling in hands , waking up early morning hours such as 12:00 1:00am etc. Not sleeping waiting for our 30 days so we can exchange or get rid of it. Now we are waiting for soft pro adapt praying it will relief pain also purchase adjustable frame. Furniture store where we purchase does not refund how wonderful, so we had to go with another temper pedic. needless to say the expense is out of this world. Living on social security now this will hit us hard . well suck it up butter cup and learn from this experience never again! I google this problem was surprise to find I'm not alone with this discomfort . Just weird. My husband has no problem. I've started sleeping on our old mattress in another room which is strange after 43 years of marriage, and to my surprise the pain has eased up and back to normaL after four days. so I thought I give the bed another try and slept on husband side of bed , well the pain woke me up again and tingling in hands. Keep fingers cross peps that soft pro adapt will solve this problem should be here in another week they say.

Don't know how they do it! When I slapped my hand on the bed, it felt close that of a "redgit board". Then, when you lay down on the mattress, it like sinking into a cloud (Just an analogy as I have never slept on a cloud - full disclosure here). The mattress simply adjusts to your entire body and gives you the most comfortable sleep ever. I guess the secret formula will never bare its sole.
