I love from the first night. Did not need a getting use to period. The adjustable base has really added a variety of comfort positions. Has helped my breathing -- less snoring, and helps resolve ankle swelling. Originally bought for a jacked up neck, shoulder, and back. Wake up in the morning without pain.

I couldn't be more happier with my purchase. I sleep on my side so I elected to go with the Soft- ProAdapt mattress. My previous mattress was 8 years old so it was definitely time for an upgrade. This mattress changed my life! No more waking up in the morning feeling tired from tossing turning all night. Its so soft it feels like you are sleeping on a cloud!!! This is truly the best mattress on the market.

I now have a smile on my face each night as I lie down to sleep. I needed a firm mattress but a mattress with some give that would not give out. In the morning the head of the bed is always elevated a bit, proving that it had raised itself in response to snoring. The massage features and synching of music with the massage are frazzle-dazzle features, but the main thing for me is the "intelligence" of the mattress and the value of the SleepTracker app, which has gotten me serious for the first time about understanding my sleep patterns, sleeping longer, and sleeping more efficiently. I think I've been sleep-deprived for over 50 years.

Absolutely love the cooling gel top. It's summer, so the little bit of cooling is a blessing. In the winter I'll be able to zip off the top (cooling gel top) and sleep warmer, if needed. We also purchased the Ease 2.0 base which has zero gravity....Hands down the best nights sleep I've had in years!!! Yes, Tempur-Pedic is slightly more money than some but WELL worth the investment. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this mattress after months of research online. We had slept on a Temper-Pedic two years ago on vacation and it was the best week of sleep. I finally just bought this one, and when I say I have never slept better, its an understatement. I actually sleep through the night now, and my husband who has a bad back hasn't complained in one month. It was a costly investment, but after the great sleep we are getting it is well worth it.

The jury remains out on my new Tempur-Pedic mattress. It replaced a hybrid from another manufacturer in its twelfth year of use that developed uncomfortable strike through to the quite firm support layers. The ProAdapt Hybrid was chosen simply because the in-store sample felt the most comfortable among the several hybrids and others on site. Despite the warning of the break-in requirement in the product literature, I found the first few days of use bordering on intolerable. With a week or two of additional use the mattress is becoming better to sleep on and I'm willing to withhold final judgement pending further break-in. I suspect my prior mattress was softer overall (and I'm older and creakier now), but I fondly recall the wonderful, enveloping support it provided during and after break-in. None of the in-store options at Mattress Firm offered this and, in the end, I may pursue adding a topper to try to recapture the feel of the prior mattress.

This mattress was purchased as a last resort after years of medical and non-traditional remedies failed to address insomnia. The TEMPUR-ProAdapt Firm mattress is just what the doctor didn't know to order. I have sweet, uninterrupted dreams again. Thank you.

Both wife and I have had multiple back surgeries and still suffer significantly with back pain. This mattress has made sleep for us a little easier. We both wish the queen size mattress and adjustable base were available in split configuration like king size are.

We have been happily sleeping on Tempurpedic mattresses for 20+ years. Recently, though, I developed shoulder arthritis, and I was waking up with shoulder pain. We switched our old (still good!) firm Tempurpedic for this softer version. No more shoulder pain! Tempurpedic mattresses have consistently given us our best sleeps. As our bodies change over time, updating the style of mattress we sleep on makes good sense. (Our friends' six-foot, six-inches adult child was delighted to adopt our like-new king-size mattress, and loves it as much as we did. Tempurpedics seemingly 'last forever.')

It also adds just a little firmness over the the regu;ar medium. This is a replacement mattress for a cloud supreme that had failed. The company stands by its products! Love the productand the company.
