As soon as I was in bed, I knew I had arrived in heaven. Such comfort as I experienced was a totally new experience. It is an anniversary gift and I didn't think our mattress was that bad until I've laid down on this one. Life will never be the same!

I'll be honest, the first week on this bed had me nervous that I didn't make the right purchase. It felt much more firm than the models in the store. I was finding my self tossing and turning and waking up stiff. However, after doing some reading online, I discovered that the mattress needed time break-in and for the Tempur cells to breath. For the first couple of weeks when I was changing the bedding, I let the bed sit "naked" for a few hours, and would even unzip the Tempur cover. I found this made a big difference in the feel and softness of the mattress. Within a few weeks, I was sleeping great. I have had the bed just about two months now and absolutely LOVE it! It's not too firm and not too soft - just right. And supportive too. I have been sleeping great and no longer have the back pain I was experiencing on my old mattress. Would highly recommend!

This mattress gives the support with the comfort needed when arms and shoulders hurt from sleeping on your side. It does not completely cure all of the hurting , but it is better than the Serta I comfort mattress we had been sleeping on the last five years. It is soft with a firm under lay that keeps you on a level plain. I didn't think it would be better than what we had, but I was wrong. This mattress has improved my night sleep. I sleep best on a firm mattress and this one doesn't disappoint, providing it doesn't break down. I've had mine for nearly 1.5 years and need to make a warranty claim. Every morning, my partner would sit on the edge of the bed while he put on his socks, shoes, etc before work. The firmness has gone and I feel like I have rolled into a hole. Remember the bowling ball mattress where they drop the ball onto the mattress but it doesn't disturb the glass of red wine? This mattress is not like that. I feel every move my partner makes. I wish I had gotten the split mattress! Maybe I wouldn't feel so much movement????

After 19 years of sleeping on the original Tempur-Pedic Classic it was time to replace the mattress because of ruts. I wanted to purchase another Classic but the times, technology and Tempur-Pedic products have changed. I researched online information and went to several retail outlets to try to find a Tempur-Pedic mattress that was as close to the classic as I could find. The results was I purchased the Pro-Adapt firm and I could not be more confident in my purchase. This mattress is far superior to the original Classic and I am getting the best nights sleep ever. Looking forward to another 19 years of peaceful, relaxing and blissful sleep!

We would never have believed you could make a determination about the comfort of a mattress in a short 5-10 minute in-store trial. But the minute we laid down on Tempur-Pedics, we were sold! The only decision was whether or not to get the hybrid. We ultimately chose the Pro-Adapt hybrid because it provided a little more 'firmness.' As an older couple, we decided we could use the additional support to make getting into and out of the bed easier. So we chose the hybrid. We are 2 months into ownership, and couldn't be happier with our decision. We also got the Tempur-Pedic pillows and love them, too!

There are less expensive mattresses out there but if you want the ultimate in comfort and quality, Tempur-Pedic is absolutely the 'Gold Standard'. We simply couldn't be happier with our TEMPUR-ProAdapt Soft mattress and as someone with a very bad back, I can attest to its support qualities.

The warranty process is too difficult. Having to lift mattress take pictures etc is ridiculous. Our bed was put in protective cover sheets spread and had to strip. I'm 87 years old and had to get help to come to my home just to register. Called to register on phone. I was informed not an option. Ridiculous

I fell in love with this bed the first time I laid on it. Tempur-pedic nailed it with this bed, its not too soft or too firm. I fall asleep faster, wake up feeling refreshed, and ready for the day! Before owning this bed, I had the cloud, which I also loved, but this bed is 10 times better! The only thing I do not like about this bed, is the fact I can't really tell that it sleeps any cooler than my cloud did.

We went from an uncomfortable flat mattress to an adjustable base tempurpedic. It has solved my morning backache problem & I find I sleep better and longer with this mattress. My husband has COPD so having the adjustable base is excellent for his breathing. I am very happy with our purchase of this bed. It is not too soft but gives us the support we need without being too hard.
