At first I went in to just check them out. I wanted to lay on a tempurpedic mattress since for ever. Paul sure knows how to make you feel comfortable without any pressure to buying. Somehow did not like the medium pro adapt and moved on to the firm, and it was love at first Lay Wow it was amazing I tried all the tempurpedics they had and none of them made me feel so good like the PROADAPT-FIRM. IM VERY HAPPY WITH THE PURCHASE. I was told it was going to rock hard when we first get it in. So I was not surprised when I laid on my new bed. I was prepared for it. It's been a little over 2months now. Not too hard anymore. Its white comfortable for even my husband. No, I still toss and turn. I still have to turn to my side to fall asleep, but once I am I sleep very well on my back and feel restful in the morning. I am aware it will be alot longer before I feel this bed as good as I felt the showroom mattress. Hope to get new tempura for my kids in near future. No regrets, hot my bed of my dreams.

The 1st night slept great-much more support than our 3-year old Cloud Supreme (a soft-medium mattress), The next few weeks were not as great, had traded in my neck pain for shoulder pain. Switched to a higher and firmer Bamboo pillow and that has surely helped. Wife has found new mattress better for her lower back. Overall, an improvement, Verdict is still out whether we will keep it or switch to the medium ProAdapt model.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As a side sleeper I've always had hip pain in the morning but since getting a tempur-pedic it's completely disappeared. I was worried about not having enough support and about it sleeping hot. But I think having the spring coils in the hybrid not only give extra support but also helps keep the mattress cooler. I would say definitely try them out in store before ordering because your weight and sleep position will determine what level of firmness you'll need. Shipping was insanely fast, it was delivered and setup in under a week. All in all for me it was completely worth the price tag.

We purchased a Pro-Adapt Firm, knowing we have 90 days to try it and purchase a different model if that one didn't work for us. After a month, we decided to upgrade. The payment system was apparently down and it took a week to get through to anyone to process the payment. We paid over $2,000 more for the upgrade over a month and a half ago. We still have not received the mattress. I've spent 3.5 hours on the phone on various holds over a couple days, only to be told that the delivery company for some reason has not scheduled the delivery. I was told I would get an answer on this and a delivery date within 24 hours. This was a week ago and I am now on the phone again, trying to get through to someone. I've been on hold for ___ minutes so far and still no one was picked up. I'm on an endless loop of an automated message. Do not buy from Tempurpedic online. If I had to do it over again, I would not buy from them at all. This has been incredibly frustrating.

Normally if I wake up in the middle of the night, it takes at least an hour to fall back to sleep. NOT now! We've had our Pro Adapt Medium Hybrid for a month and absolutely love it. We tried a different brand of mattress before this and returned it. Best decision I've made in a long time!

It was a rough first two days on the mattress. It felt like a brick. BUT after those first two days, it molded with my body and I now sleep sooooo well! The pillows are great too. This is my second tempurpedic mattress and pillows and I can say that they have made some serious improvements to these new products. My body doesn't get so hot on it anymore either with their new pro-adapt technology. The pillows are definitely cooler and lighter. Love it! I'm very very happy with the purchase.

We purchased a King Tempur-ProAdapt in firm. After seven months, we wish we could undo this purchase. Our previous two mattresses were both firm, traditional independent coil. This would be our first memory foam mattress. Neither my wife nor I sleep consistently well on the Tempur-Pedic. This mattress chases you off it - I literally find myself getting out of bed in the morning because I can no longer stand the discomfort my body is feeling, specifically, pain through my pelvis and hip region as well as sore shoulders and numb arms. The hip and pelvis pain is with me continually and the sad part is I have learned to live with it. Recently, a second seven day vacation away from our Tempur-Pedic, I realized my hip/pelvis and shoulders stop hurting within a day or two. I spoke with Tempur-Pedic, but their response was to keep the room cool and to consider purchasing their mattress topper which would *maybe* help soften things up. I never stated this mattress is too firm, there is more to it than that. This mattress brought pain my mid-40's body has never felt. Read reviews and if you're having problems early on, react immediately, we're stuck with this thing now and we'll have to absorb a second mattress purchase in under a year. They claim their customer service is so great, why not try to help someone and send them a mattress topper after they just spent thousands on your product and are now afraid to use it.

This mattress was so soft in the store, instant love. My hubby likes a slightly firm mattress, and I prefer sleeping in clouds. The salesperson told us to jump on the bed (we don't have the electric base) so that it'd add wear to it. The first 2 weeks I slept okay but the bed was firm. It adapted to my body, but honestly I wasn't comfortable and thought I'd just made a HUGE financial mistake buying it. Fast forward 6 weeks and my standpoint has changed, A LOT! The mattress still seems a little firmer when we first lay down, but it adapts to your body and is so comfy. I've been getting some of the best sleep I've ever gotten. Hubby is a side/back sleeper and I'm a side/stomach sleeper. Side note: both hubby and I were getting weekly, sometimes bi-weekly adjustments at the chiropractor. In the 8 weeks of owning the bed, we've each only been adjusted once. Our chiropractor said that the bed is really helping us by providing the support we need in our necks/backs.

I've had the Pro Adapt Firm model for a few weeks and at this point the mattress has exceeded my expectations. The first couple nights took some getting used to because of the firmness and the memory foam feel. Each night the bed becomes more comfortable and supportive. It's been such a long time since I actually didn't want to leave my bed in the morning and I look forward to going to sleep every night. Def not cheap but I look at it as a solid investment in my health and quality of life. Worth every penny.

I 1st had a medium and it got to soft after a few weeks. I has to do the exchange for a firm. WOW what a difference so far. Even though I've had it over a week, it has only softened very little (as that is what I need). If it stays this way for the life of the mattress, I'll be happy!
