Thrilled with the mattress as I am able to sleep through the night and it cured my aches and pains from my old mattress. Would highly recommend it over one the cheap "mattress in a box" brands that don't last very long.

The Tempur-ProAdapt firm is a bit fir. But we love it. The mattress contours to your body and then starts to get softer. I'm guessing it get soft around your pressure points. I am a true believer in Tempur-Pedic now. We also purchased the Ergo-Extend base. Love the base, as well. WIsh the base had more functions and a timer. It does have the Sleeptracker A1, which has helped us to sleep better, We also love how the head of the base goes up when we start to snore.

I've had this new proadapt firm mattress for 3 weeks now. The first thing I noticed is that I fall asleep so fast. When I wake up, my back feels wonderful. I've been suffering with extreme back pain for years and this mattress has been great with helping reduce it. AAA+++

Absolutely love the cooling gel top. It's summer, so the little bit of cooling is a blessing. In the winter I'll be able to zip off the top (cooling gel top) and sleep warmer, if needed. We also purchased the Ease 2.0 base which has zero gravity....Hands down the best nights sleep I've had in years!!! Yes, Tempur-Pedic is slightly more money than some but WELL worth the investment. This is the 2nd Tempur-Pedic we have owned in 25+ years and will not sleep on anything else!! Thanks Tempur-Pedic...We LOVE your products

I could't have chosen a better mattress. I sleep on my back, stomach, side and this particular model best accommodates these varied positions. And, the mattress is cool. I just love it. After trying for several months sleeping on different kinds of mattresses made of all organic wool (too stiff/hard and high maintenance), natural latex (too bouncy), cotton and wool (too hard), other kinds of foam (too flimsy), etc., I settled on Tempur-pedic Medium Hybrid. I've been sleeping on it for several weeks now and it is just a very comfortable substantial bed.

So a couple of things to keep in mind, the mattress takes a while to break in and can sleep warmer than other mattresses. With this in mind, choose appropriate bedding, my wife, and I use cooling sheets and blankets as anyone might in the summertime. After the bed breaks in, it does hug your curves and supports you completely. I have had ours now for two months and feel amazing benefits, no back or neck pain, worth the investment. We have tried other companies that ship in a box, and this is just superior quality and manufacturing. One thing I would like to note is they do have the top cooling layer to their bed with the tight-knit material, but you don't notice when sheets are on, unless you sleep directly on, which I know most would not do as it may void a warranty from stains. I wish Tempurpedic would offer the same quality of knitting for the bed as a sheet or blanket set. Pro is the comfort you will obtain, its truly unlike any other bed and it shows how they made memory foam their own. A con, it's relatively expensive, but its made in the USA and they employ US workers, this means a lot to my family. I suggest this bed for anyone with back pain or special conditions. Perhaps another suggestion I could make is most other companies will offer a full money back warranty with no restocking fees and an extended trial period, Tempurpedic is more conservative compared to others, but, they most likely incur more costs than the others do. Excellent mattress, try it out at a store first before buying, as there are many models. Its all about the right feel for you and your body type/preferences. Great bed, sleeping well! This is the third mattress I've purchased in the past 3 years. I have been experiencing back problems associated with scoliosis. My chiropractor recommended a firm mattress but the ones I tried failed to provide the support I needed while also flexing enough not to pinch my pressure points. Also, what was good for me wasn't always good for the hubby. My Tempur-Pedic finally hit the mark for both of us. I sleep hot, he sleeps cold. We are both very comfortable now. I need firm support with give for my curvy figure, he doesn't have the curves and can handle a flatter firm. Both of us are finally happy. Did I mention we live and travel full time in an RV? This mattress is a blessing to come home to each evening when we are on the road.

I chose TempurPedic primarily because I needed to try the mattress before I bought it. There are many "highly rated" mattresses that only are available online but I was not going to buy "sight unseen". The Flagship store associate added value to my purchase with her clear explanations and patience while I debated which firmness to get and went back and forth between the displays. There was also good followup because I did not purchase during my initial store visit and had additional questions. The "White Glove" delivery and 90 day trial were also important factors in my decision.
