I purchased my first Tempurpedic mattress 8 years ago when I first got pregnant and wasn't getting good sleep so when it came time for a new mattress, I knew I had to get another Tempurpedic. The ProAdapt line has been incredible and I LOVE that it adjusts to relieve pressure. Plus I can turn / move and not wake up my husband so he gets his sleep too! I've been waking up feeling more rested than ever.

I've been sleeping on a very hard bed for 30 years because of a bad back. The new ProAdapt Firm mattress has been great on my back, sleeping is sound and my back feels great every morning. I thought the mattress would be much harder living in the North East in winter, but it settles in nice a quick and I'm off to sleep before I know it..

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been complaining of upper back and neck problems for more than 26 years and all that went away ever since I bough my Tempur-Pro Adapt Soft Mattress on May 27, 2019. I believe that owning a Tempur-Pedic mattress and pillow that is the right one for you is the key to achieving a restful night sleep and pain free. I no longer have to go for a biweekly massage that, oftentimes, only causes more neck and back pain. What is so wonderful about my Tempur-ProAdapt mattress is that it contours to the shape of my body. There are times when I do not lay my head on my Tempur-Pedic pillows, and that is absolutely fine too if you ask me. So far, I own two mattress from Tempur-Pedic and I know without a shadow of a doubt that it is going to last me more than 20 years. With care, weekly laundry-washing, and the soft touch of Tempur-Pedic bedsheets and pillow covers, I know for a fact that IT IS GOING TO TAKE CARE OF ME! Bought this mattress with hopes of eliminating pain in my hips and my back. All it has done it made worse. I also wake up with numbness in my tailbone area and my entire back hurts. Cannot get comfortable and am unable to sleep for more than a few hours at a time on it. Also the mattress retains way too much heat regardless of room temperature. Will not be buying another Tempur pedic mattress and frankly can't wait to get rid of this one and find a different brand.

Absolutely NOT for senior citizens, extremely difficult to change the sheets since this mattress is very heavy (queen size). I regret immensely buying it but after spending over $3000 I am stuck for life. 1st time putting a sheet on by trying to lift one side, something snapped in my shoulder & I have not recovered yet from this injury. I wish I could return it & recoup some of my money but I know it's not possible so unfortunately for me, I'll have to straggle with it for the rest of my life (I'm in my late 70's). Sorry Tempur-Pedic, I DO NOT RECOMMEND your mattress, this model or any other Tempur-Pedic model as well especially for older adults. For many years I had Sleep Number bed in king size (2 X twin) but after my husband passing, I moved & downsized so I bought this queen size mattress. I wish I could go back to the Sleep Number mattress & get rid of the Tempur-Pedic one but I can't afford to do just that.

I was pleasantly surprised of the as a whole the strength of the base, mattresses and flexibility (adjustable) in the bed.Although, we bought two twin XL's to make this king size bed - both sides - are really strong and do not give me worries that any part of the bed I sit on or lay on will fail.

The Tempur-ProAdapt firm is a bit fir. But we love it. The mattress contours to your body and then starts to get softer. I'm guessing it get soft around your pressure points. I am a true believer in Tempur-Pedic now. We also purchased the Ergo-Extend base. Love the base, as well. WIsh the base had more functions and a timer. It does have the Sleeptracker A1, which has helped us to sleep better, We also love how the head of the base goes up when we start to snore.

We complained to the salesman that the tperpedic that we have at home doesn't feel good like the one we tried at the store. He said just give it a little time to expand out or loosen up. It's still hard as a rock and so uncomfortable. My husband hates it and so do I. However the adjustable base is very nice in the zero gravity state.

I was skeptical about this mattress, but I am loving it. I am sleeping better than I have in years. Purchase and set up were very easy and quick. We did have to buy the TempurPedic sheets as our old sheets would not stay on the corners. We do love the new sheets, so it's been fine.

It's a very comfortable bed. It took some adjusting. I would wake with sore shoulders but I was warned about the break in period. I now don't wake to sore shoulders. We do have an adjustable base. I get hot sleeping and this bed isn't a cool temperature bed. The dense foam holds heat. We have an upgraded mattress pad that's suppose to help but I still run hot. Keep in mind I live in MN and it was winter when I bought it. My wife even said she gets warm. I think I'm going to buy the mattress protector the sales man said people complained about being too cold. Great mattress but holds heat.
