We ordered our split king pro-adapt medium hybrid mattress and adjustable base from a local distributor of tempurpedic products. The delayed delivery was over 4 weeks. We were told to expect the delivery the following week, however the wait time was over 4 weeks. We were never informed of the delay. and we did not get any communication from anyone about the delay. This delay and lack of communication was very disappointing . The mattress was set by our delivery person and that process was fine. He showed us how to use the remotes and explained the adjustable base to us. The biggest problem was the smell from the bed. After approximately 3 days my husband stated waking up with a head ache and dizziness. The longer he was out of bed the better his headache became. I did not have this problem, however the smell is very strong and irritating. We have been airing the bed daily and trying to tolerate the smell. We have been sleeping on the bed about 2 weeks. The mattress definitely feels much different than a traditional mattress. When I get into bed, I feel like I am sinking into the mattress and it seems to be hard to roll over during the night. My husband does not complain about this issue. Overall, the mattress is ok. For the price that we paid, I was expecting to fall in love with the bed, but I did not. My husband seems satisfied and states he is sleeping better. So for us, I don't think we would purchases this product again. We are still within the 90 day return window and have not decided if we will return. We also considered a sleep number bed.

Having deep dream filled sleep with my new mattress. I have always gone with a 'firm' mattress, but now that I am older I wanted to try and see if a less firm mattress might feel better and alleviate some of the 'aches & pains' ... thankfully, the TempurPedic ProAdapt Medium Hybrid offers the give needed but still has some firmness that I like. Great mattress. I also purchased the TempurErgo Extend Smart Base. Going to have to try the pillows!

It's a very comfortable bed. It took some adjusting. I would wake with sore shoulders but I was warned about the break in period. I now don't wake to sore shoulders. We do have an adjustable base. I get hot sleeping and this bed isn't a cool temperature bed. The dense foam holds heat. We have an upgraded mattress pad that's suppose to help but I still run hot. Keep in mind I live in MN and it was winter when I bought it. My wife even said she gets warm. I think I'm going to buy the mattress protector the sales man said people complained about being too cold. Great mattress but holds heat.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] before sleeping on this new bed I would wake up multiple times a night I'd wake up at 5-6 am and stay awake for hours. I would wake up to use the restroom at times twice a night. I would wake up with back pain. Now all those negatives affects of a bad bed have gone away. Also strangely enough now I dream almost every night as before I would rarely dream.

We went with the Temper-ProAdapt Soft for both of us....We love them. More comfortable than our old mattress! We ordered them directly with Tempur-Pedic, and have had a great experience. Definitely recommend !!!

I owned the original for 15 years and loved it. I searched and tried the entire TP line to get the model that was closest to what I knew and landed on the Pro Adapt. Started with the medium and it became much too soft. Serious back pain in the morning. I then exchanged for a firm, which also just doesn't work for me because it seems to be equal parts squish and firm, which doesn't sync up with my brain. Every night I get into bed and wonder why it isn't more firm, or slightly more soft. It's a curious and uncomfortable mix of both. BE AWARE you can only make a return/exchange once. This second attempt left me with a very expensive bed that I can't return or change - it would be great if they changed this policy ☹️

As a side sleeper I have suffered with waking up with tremendous shoulder pain that slowly eases throughout the morning. With my new tempurpedic the pain disappeared from the first morning. Amazing! This mattress is super comfortable and provides all the support I need.

I was struggling to find the best mattress since several years. I was looking for a firm mattress that will not give back or shoulder pain. It's just perfect. Have been using since 3 months and just love it. It's costly though. This one is not like the other brand mattresses which give feeling of "trampoline".
