This bed is a lifesaver! We were worried about purchasing a bed online and with the pandemic, not able to go to a store a lay on it, gave me anxiety. After many months of researching we finally decided on the Tempur-ProAdapt Firm. Purchasing online was easy and customer service was great with all our questions about delivery protocol. When they delivered they wore masks, gloves and booties! Took our old mattress away and all the packaging! The first night was the best sleep I have had in years! The bed is cool, firm and contouring. Firm but not too firm. I was having a ton of lower back/hip pains with our old bed. We have had our Tempur-ProAdapt bed for two months now and I am still getting restful pain free sleep.

I had just been recovering from a GI viral infection, and had my bed up on stilts in the back to stay elevated during sleep. I was sliding down my bed and it was incredibly uncomfortable. We were looking for a great high end adjustable mattress and bed frame for our existing very nice Restoration Hardware bed frame which we absolutely did not want to switch. Not only did the ProAdapt Cal-King we bought fit perfectly, it was way more comfortable that our previous mattress and the Ergo-Extend frame that we got with it converted our bed from really very good completely awesome. Bed on stilts, and sliding down the bed at night was a thing of the past. The memory foam is really very cool during sleep - not sure how that works exactly but it seems like it has to do with the way the outside of the mattress is textured as well as the type of material used on the surface. However it works, it seems to work quite well. The fitted sheets stay in place which was a concern (with an adjustable bed) but ended up working out fine. Just completely 100% happy with how this bed. Was very worried the frames would not fit, or the quality would be less than promised, but both the mattresses and the adjustable frames were absolutely rock solid, well constructed and amazingly top notch. The only issue we had was that well known fresh "memory foam" hot out of the factory oder that the mattresses have for the first 30-40 days. They promised it would go away after a little bit.. and I can report that yes it actually did. All and all I'd say money well spent.

I had a Tempurpedic for about ten years, then when I moved got to thinking any old mattress would do. Big Mistake. 4 months later, my cheap "memory foam" mattress was folding in the middle and killing me. I went back to Tempurpedic and, no joke, within one night, I got some real sleep and woke up with no pain, feeling refreshed. Lesson learned. I will never stray again.

This was a perfect fit for support, cooling, and relief from sciatica pain. The first night was the best sleep I have had in a very long time. If you have lower back or joint issues, definitely get this mattress.

So happy we finally caved and dropped the cash on this bed. It was more then what we wanted to pay for the bed but we are so happy with it. Was a little concerned at first that it was going to stay hard but it soften up after a few nights. We love having a larger size and I never feel my partner move at night.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bed is ok, works fine, almost too firm compared to what we tested in the stores. Delivery and customer service were awful. Delivery "forgot" to put our bed on the truck the first day with little apology, more like "oh-well, not our problem." After a conversation with them explaining the difficulty in being away from work as we are both directors in our respective companies, they promise to schedule delivery for the following week, later after 4pm. 5 days later my husband is pulled away from work at because they were on their way to deliver our bed, absolutely before 4, well before 4. To make it right they offered to send us 2 pillows. Fine, I was going to purchase new pillows anyways. Although it doesn't return the significant time away from work I don't have to shop for new pillows. This was the last correspondence from them 3 weeks ago, mid-September. Since then nothing, no emails, no pillows, and no answering the phone. I sent a follow up email from my email address, my name was used to purchase the bed but contact info was for my husband so he could coordinate things, quickly received a response telling me to go to the third party I purchased from. I purchased directly through the web site. I responded with this information and my husband's information and received a very rude and short response stating they couldn't find any record of my purchase with them so they couldn't help. I've finally sent the correspondence with my husband attached to my email. Let's see what happens. I suspect more of the same- nothing.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I just love love love this mattress, firmest out there, my husband's back pain is gone. He does not wake up with pain anywhere. Not only its a the densest in consistency but it keeps just enough softness on the surface to not make the mattress rock solid. There is no sinking or stuck feeling in the mattress at all. It is highly recommended from me. Worth each and every penny!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I find this bed comfortable. It is quite tall, and may be a problem for those who are short, or have mobility issues. My only complaint, after six weeks, is the outgassing of the bed. Initially the smell was very strong, so I did not even use the bed for the first 10 nights!

This bed was super firm, and so different than what we were used to in a traditional spring mattress. I went with firm bedside reviews say after a few years they soften a bit. This is like camping in a tent the first couple weeks. I'd say it really took 3-4 weeks to get used to. When you finally do get used to it, the sleep can't be beat. I slept so sound that first good night. I was skeptical and worried until that magical night about a month in. My husband acclimated more quickly around week two or three. I don't feel him get out of bed at 5am anymore! Another magical thing, I don't know how, but his insanely loud snoring is gone, and he rarely snores anymore at all! This bed is worth every penny for that reason alone!!
