Fell in love with this bed. Helps provide relief for my bulging L4 L5 disc in my back. Also has helped me to stay in REM sleep longer than before. Oddly enough I've become a back sleep when I was a habitual side sleeper. If we ever need a new mattress, we'll definitely be getting a tempurpedic.

I was impressed with this mattress on the very first night, and have continued to be impressed. I'd always been a bit skeptical when it came a mattress' ability to regulate temperature and keep a person cool throughout the night. In my head I'd say things like, "Ya, right. I'm sure it's a rip off. There's no way a mattress could do that." But, I decided to step out of my comfort zone and take a chance and my goodness, I'm so glad that I did! I'm happy to admit that I was wrong, but I think my body is even happier! Ever since I switched out my old mattress for my new Tempur-ProAdapt, my sleep has drastically improved. Night after night I'm sleeping cooler, more comfortable, and waking up more rested than ever before.

We purchased the mattress and Ergo 3.0 base about a month ago (9/23). We are hoping the mattress does get softer. Once you put a pad and fitted sheet on the mattress it isn't as soft or conforms to your body. The Tempur Pedic cotton sheets do not stretch as advertised - would not recommended. The base does have some flaws - there are bright lights under the bed that do not go out, so we had to cover them up. Also the remote does not stay lit very long in the dark. Overall, we are pleased with both.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased the Tempur Pro-Adapt, Medium Hybrid. I have never owned a mattress with such support. You can really feel the difference in quality with this mattress then compared to others at a department store. The mattress itself is HEAVY to cary, but that just goes to show how much goes into this mattress to alow us to sleep comfortably. I am a side sleeper and normally I cannot sleep on my back. However, with this Tempur mattress I am able to sleep in ANY position, even on my stomach. My boyfriend has back pain often and not just one spot. Ever since I bought this mattress he has not complained about back pain since. It has been months since I purchased this mattress and I am so glad that I did. If you want to invest your money in a great product that will last you years, this is it.

The mattress adapts to your every move, so your spine is properly aligned (with adjustable base); I now have a good night sleep and wake up ache free. The smell of the foam was not strong or offensive to my sensitive olfactory bulbs. The material over the foam is soft as silk, (good), but slippery, my fitted cotton sheets slip off during sleep. A mattress cover was recommended but not purchase, perhaps it will solve the slippery issue ???

The mattress is very good and we decided to buy the matching pillows. The wrong pillows were sent, because while I was shopping the pillows reset to the default of queen size instead of king size. The representative told me too bad and no returns or replacements.

I was pleasantly surprised of the as a whole the strength of the base, mattresses and flexibility (adjustable) in the bed.Although, we bought two twin XL's to make this king size bed - both sides - are really strong and do not give me worries that any part of the bed I sit on or lay on will fail.

We absolutely love this bed! Prior to this we had bought a "memory foam" bed on line that was suppose to be amazing (little to no reviews, no one heard of it) and what ended up happening is, it was not good enough! I would get out of bed and my whole body ached! I thought, "I guess this is what old feels like" (I'm 30 years old). My husband stands on his feet all day and would complain of back pain, again we assumed it was being over weight and getting old (he's 33). To our surprise the bed was firmer than the show model and took some getting used to, maybe 5 nights. I immediately noticed a difference when I woke up and stood up from the bed, no pain, and no aches! I feel completely young again! My husband hasn't had back pain since! He has more energy now and we could not be happier! We would recommend this type of bed for everyone! There is a reason why they are the best and we now know, we cant put a price a good sleep! We looked at Tempur Pedic for 3 reasons: 1. I sleep hot 2. I have lower back pain 3. I'm allergic to latex The mattress we chose is firm and cool. Even my sheets feel great whereas before I would wake up in a puddle of sweat! Although not totally gone, my back is 99% better. We got the adjustable base and couldn't be happier with our sleeping and reading options. Pricey yes, but worth every penny!

We've had this bed a month. When we tried it in the showroom display the "firm" mattress was very soft. The "medium" mattress was way too soft (sink to the bottom kinda soft). So we went with the firm with the idea it would relax/soften over time considering the showroom display had been there for quite a while. After taking delivery of our new split CA king bed, I found the firm was just that FIRM. Too firm for me but just right for my husband. Until this bed softens up a bit, I need to put a softer memory foam topper on it. Otherwise the quality is good and my husband likes all the bells and whistles of the base. It's perfect for him to adjust so he can be comfortable with his bad back.
