[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Initially got the medium firmness and was able to exchange the mattress for the soft firmness during the "trial period" for a $175 fee, of course. Medium was just a little too firm for us. Customer service was great and accommodating. The mattress itself is amazing. My wife and I are shift workers and have always had trouble with getting a good night sleep. Now that is a thing of the past. When we're home and sleeping on the Tempur-Pedic we finally sleep all the way through the night. It's spectacular

We have had our ProAdapt for about 3 weeks now and are still getting used to it - it is a huge departure from a conventional mattress and box spring. We both like the support we are getting, but find it a bit difficult to roll over and we find it "warm" (although that could be the change season too). I think with a bit more time we would probably give it 5-stars.

We got the firm split king with adjustable base based on recommendations of back dr and Physical therapist. It felt great in the store ( after hundreds had tried it out) and I was warned it would take some time to break in, so I'm trying to be patient. It is getting better and I have high hopes. The two big problems is the bottom sheet constantly pulling out and never being really tight while sleeping. The second is making the bed! It's near impossible to make it tight . The corners stay put but the middle never stays that way. I added a very good mattress pad and it helps some. I have ordered QuickZip sheets because changing the sheets weekly is just way to difficult as we are older. Hopefully that will make a big difference and waiting for the shipment to arrive. I'm looking forward to the bed getting more comfortable.

This is our second experience with TEMPUR-PEDIC mattresses. We purchased one in years ago and it is still in use today by another family member. We passed it along to another family member due to heat generated while sleeping. We were pleased to find that TEMPUR-PEDIC adapted to newer technology and incorporated COOL technology into the Pro Adapt mattress. The mattress is comfortable, however, it does not retain the coolness that was experienced as we tested the model in the store. We feel this could be caused by the TEMPER-PEDIC factory mattress cover we purchased and installed. Overall the mattress is good and we are happy with the performance. We believe the defining test will be during our high humidity, hot Florida summer that is fast approaching.

At first, the mattress felt too firm but as I started to get used to it and break it in I am starting to have a better night's sleep. I have noticed that I do not toss and turn nearly as much sleeping on this mattress compared to my prior mattress that needed to be swapped out under warranty. I am so glad I paid for the upgrade on this mattress. I will say also this mattress is a lot cooler than the Tempurpedic mattress I owned in the past. I will say when it arrived it felt too firm but just sleep on it and it will break in just fine. I will say that it is relatively a thick mattress I needed new sheets as they kept coming undone. So just buy deeper pocket sheets especially if you have an adjustable base like I do that I also purchased.

My husband and I purchased the pro-adapt mattress. My husband works on cars and I'm in the dental field so we strain our bodies everyday. We get regular massages but our back always seemed to ache. This mattress is a great investment for our bodies. We are no longer waking up with back pain! Love this bed!

My wife and I have never had a tempur-pedic before, so although we wanted the upgrade, we were suspicious of the hype, especially about the reduction of body aches. Prior to this purchase, I had been waking up with stiffness & aches in my lower back and hip areas for some time. After the first night on our new mattress, I awoke the next morning - and every morning for the past 2+ weeks - totally free of aches & stiffness! We both have had more restful and deeper sleep, as well. The comfort level is better than we both thought possible. Highly recommended!

Went to TempurPedic and then call. Representative was happy to help, and we asked about the $300. promotional, which we qualified for. The mattress cover came with the 2 pillows under separate cover. The representative assured us the mattress cover was comfortable. She didn't tell us it could not be returned! Since these items were more than the $300.00, we paid the difference. The mattress came and we put on the mattress cover, which slides around, and is not comfortable. Disappointed that I wasn't told it could not returned, resulting in terse email from TempurPedic advising me of this, without any thought that I was misinformed by the sales representative.

I normally do not do reviews but this weekend, we visited the Frontenac store in Ladue,MO. Corinne- our sales associate was awesome. From the time we arrived and explained we were trying to learn about their beds, their bases, she took it from there. Had great questions from both of us, wanted to understand our sleep regiment and from there began demo process on various mattresses and bases. Great experience. We have never owned a mattress like this before and can't wait to experience it. Corrinne made this a great experience and it was a true pleasure working with her. We left there Saturday, talked about it and returned Sunday. Had a few more questions, tested bed again and guess what- made the purchase.Thank you for everything you did for us as I would highly recomend her to anybody in the St.Louis area that is ready to make a change in their mattress but maybe their sleep style to receive the best night ever. Bottom line: it's super comfortable, but sleeps a little hot I tried so many mattresses and even purchased a different brand mattress that felt comfortable in the store, but when I slept on it at home it hurt my hips when I slept on my side, so I returned it. Even a medium or plush mattress felt too firm. Then I tried the ProAdapt Soft and I loved it, but kept looking elsewhere since I hadn't planned to spend that much. After trying many more mattresses, I eventually made the right decision and invested in the ProAdapt Soft. It is so comfortable! I truly love it. I am mostly a side sleeper but with this mattress I don't feel any discomfort on my hips or other pressure points. I had also read that being a lighter-weight female might be why so many other beds felt too firm, because I wasn't really sinking into them. With this mattress, that is not a problem at all. The one thing I don't like about this mattress is that I started sleeping much hotter. It has gotten better as I've gotten used to it and only bothers me sometimes now. That said, if I had the money, I would probably upgrade to one of the cooling models. But I am still extremely happy with my purchase!
