I have yet to use this generator in anger but I have run it once a month for 1/2 hour to test my whole house backup system for the last several months. I run 240 volts from the 50 amp plug to a 50 amp whole house interlock. When I got it, I ran it from a 100# propane can and it ran well on that. I have just installed a 3/4" NG QD on the side of my house (which a certified plumber hooked up and tested) and ran the generator this month on NG. I plan to use the propane can as a backup fuel source going forward. I have not tested the generator with gasoline yet. It starts right up from the propane but takes a bit to start from the NG line as I suspect it needs to purge more air from that line as it is larger (3/4" with 1/2" adapter) and longer (20 ft.). I was able to run my home's 3 ton AC unit (with soft start) this summer with this generator. About the highest steady load I have seen on it with NG so far is 5700 Watts. I had low idle On and the lights momentarily dimmed when my 4000 Watt water heater kicked on but the generator responded quickly and automatically bumped up the RPM to meet the demand.

Recently purchased this after the Helena storm with a smaller generator just didn’t cut it. Looking forward to putting this beast to work or maybe not..don’t really want to lose power. I purchased this after a lot of research to insure I got the right one. Went with inverter as the standard generator is loud. This one has the 50 amp plug as I had added a plug and tied it to the breaker box with an interlock. Also having to find gas was a pain, so I am looking forward to getting the natural gas set up. One thing I did notice was that even though this unit comes with a 1/2 natural gas hose it has a 3/8 inlet connection on the generator for the 1/2 inch hose. I purchased a 3/4 hose and adapter for the 3/8 connection as I wanted to ensure flow was not a issue, maybe over kill.

In all honesty I was afraid to buy a gas pressure washer- I wanted electric just for some home diy projects like my garage floor. The price on this was unbeatable and so I bit the bullet and bought it. This works perfect and it’s super easy to set up and maneuver. I can’t say I’ll ever go back to a electric pressure washer as I really feel this unit will last the rest of my life time. It’s strong and I called their support cuz I broke my wand and it cracked. I had a replacement at my door step 4 days later. Great company, better product. Kudos to genmax

Purchased the Genmax 11000 about 8 weeks ago. The Genmax arrived via a delivery truck and everything was in perfect condition. The generator was well boxed to ensure the product was not damaged. I was surprised how well made the Genmax is and think it will provided years of great service. We purchased this product as the emergency back up generator for our whole house. This handled our 5 ton air condition with no problems. We did have a soft start and interlock system professionally installed by the electrician. We live in the Houston area. Natural gas will be our preferred fuel source. Would like to see a custom Genmax dust cover included.

I bought this after Beryl hit Houston and have since upgraded my gas lines and electrical to have the 50A available to connect. I pre-planned having this unit in parallel so if I do need a 2nd generator I can run these two together and get the full <3% THD at 12.5kW to my home which should be plenty. The unit is very well made, looks nice, and has incredibly low decibel noise compared to my neighbor's duromax open frame. It came with high quality spark plug (TKG) and a magnetic dip stick so both normal aftermarket swaps are already covered here. Draining the oil, changing the plugs/filters, etc. is somewhat difficult though because of the tight space inside the unit so be prepared.

I only have 5 hours on it for the break-in so far. It doesn't come with the ATS cable, but I am not going to use that anyway. The air filter is really wedged in there, not the easiest to open and remove to get it oiled. Plus, the plate behind the air filter to the carb intake fell out and was a little difficult to get back in properly. The oil strainer is also a little difficult to reach. Other than that, it performed well on my break-in runs up to 4kw.

This is a great generator. Bought as a home backup because Edison is replacing poles and power is shut off frequently up to 8 hours. I have a 10 circuit transfer switch and it powers our whole house except hot water heater which it would but no required. It rarely kicks up to full power. I replaced an open frame generator with this because of noise issue. The Genmax is very quiet..

I bought this unit after my Champion generator took a dump on me. Just wanted to say this unit has been nothing short of Amazing! It has the necessary outlets and not the typical over complicated amount, as well as extremely portable! Good Job Genmax!

First , let me say it is a BEAUTIFUL generator ! On the initial unboxing, I was very impressed with what appeared to be a well thought out product with excellent build quality. It came well packaged and the delivery went smoothly. The generator ran great for the first 5 hours of light runtime. I ran it for about 30 minutes each month to verify I could trust it an emergency. I only ran it on propane, so I can't comment on the generator's gasoline output. It cranked very well each time , and made close to its rated output. Unfortunately, in the 12th month of ownership, the generator began to only output 120 volts. I made sure that the unit's 120/240 volt rocker switch was in the 240 volt position. Luckily, I was still 6 days (! ) from the end of the 1 year warranty with Sam's Club and they allowed me to return it. The truck they sent to return it just left today . Overall, I am disappointed because I really liked the unit, but after reading reviews on Genmax reliability , I am beginning to believe there might be more reliable generators out there. If I hadn't checked it one last time , I would be singing a different tune right now. I will say that Sam's Club has been good about the whole thing . They sent a large truck to get this thing, so that saved me having to transport it back to my local club.

This generator claims to have 6500 W running and 8500 W start but the generator I just replaced it with had 2900 running 3200 starting but was as powerful as this one. Also, the generator has shut itself off two nights in a row when I was sleeping.
