I really like these mills - different shape and they feel nice. I also like the way they grind - it’s a positive feel with the ceramic grinders. Haven’t varied it much but it does vary the grind when I tested them. All in all very pleased so far - hope they last!

I now check and tighten it before I use it which can be a pain as I have not got the best memory

Being in need of some new salt and pepper mills I came across these online. I loved the colour choice which was exactly what I was looking for and the fact no batteries are needed and the grind from the top design ensures no more messy counter tops. They were a little more than I would usually pay but we’ll worth it and the introductory offer saves a little too.

An excellent product producing fine grain servings of both salt and pepper. Ideal for both use at the table and when cooking. Far superior than any other similar product we have used in the past. Let’s hope they continue to perform satisfactorily for a long time to come. Also they provide an attractive addition to our kitchen decor.

When looking for a new set we looked at Joseph Joseph as having already owning some of their other products we knew they would be well designed, look nice and work well. We are very pleased, very easy to fill from the bottom, no mess after use as the grind comes from the top . They look pleasantly and feel nice to use and easy to handle.

Looks good in my kitchen, and great hat the bottom of the pots keep clean! However, the base is a little vulnerable to becoming loose - peppercorns all over the floor!- and the tops need to be screwed rather tightly, meaning that the grains of salt and pepper too fine!

Such a great idea as I hated having salt and pepper all over my work tops. Well made as every product from Joseph Joseph is. I get teased by my family as they asked had I won the lottery buying these products but they are built to last and worth every penny.

Loved these and have used them for about three years but the salt mill has broken after I tried to clean it as the top will nit screw back on I have cleaned it regularly with no problem before Pepper mill is fine but it seems I cannot replace just the salt mill

I love the look and feel of these mills, but tbh it is style over substance. I am a big fan of ‘JJ’ but have pondered on whether to send back. The gradient on the grinder is pretty non existent, hard to tell the difference, and the first salt I used which was rock salt was such a fine powder it clogged around the top and when you picked up the mill salt would go everywhere. I change to sea salt and it was a little better, but after a couple of days of use the grinder just dumps out salt dust in one hit. I have lots of ‘JJ’ products that I love, but not this one.

Is there any guarantee with this product? I think I’ve had them for maybe 2yrs or so and one of the springs has gone on one of the mills. I don’t think for how expensive they are that should happen?
