Milltop is extremely versatile as it can intensify the aesthetic and elegance of both your kitchen and dining room tables. Milltop comes in three stunning colorways. You have your choice of black and white, sky blue or sage green. Conventional salt &amp; pepper mills often create mess by leaving excess grounds on surfaces when placed down. The simple and stylish design of Milltop avoids this problem since the grinding mechanism is at the top of the mill. This means any excess grounds fall right back inside the unit after being used. This innovative design also does away with a long central spindle for the grinding mechanism, which ultimately increases its capacity and makes it much easier to fill. To use Milltop, simply invert the mill and twist the base to grind. To adjust the grinding size from coarse to fine, simply rotate the stainless steel top in either direction. These are great salt and power grinders. They look exactly as expected. I like that you can adjust the grinder size.

Sleek and functional

These were a gift as I already have some. They are the best grinders I’ve ever bought. More expensive than I’d usually go for but honestly worth every penny. It’s great that you can choose the coarseness of grind and they are super easy to refill and clean.

An excellent product producing fine grain servings of both salt and pepper. Ideal for both use at the table and when cooking. Far superior than any other similar product we have used in the past. Let’s hope they continue to perform satisfactorily for a long time to come. Also they provide an attractive addition to our kitchen decor.

The best of its type so far!

While there are positive reviews about this product, and I totally respect that, the product I received is horrible.  The salt grinder hard to open.  When I was able to use it the salt came out powdery not matter the setting used and came out in clumps.  The pepper grinder isn’t much better.  I have owned Cole %26 Mason for years and loved their set.  Lesson learned.  Ordered new Cole %26 Mason set today.

It doesn’t come out of shaker very well

Would not recommend

Because the pepper and salt come out from around the edge and not the very bottom, it spreads to far out. Also, when you're done grinding and tip it sideways it pours out and makes a mess because some remains on the bottom lip. I'm returning these.

Look great but disappointed in performance

Salt often sits in the top resulting on excess amounts coming out. The threaded bar that holds the top on has also sheared off and Joseph Joseph don’t have spare or sell individually so if I wanted to replace I would have to buy a pair again. I will not be buying again.
