I was really looking forward to finding a protein drink that didn't taste artificial or was sweetened with bad things but I couldn't get over the taste and how sweet it was. I also tasted the protein and I felt like it didn't really taste like chocolate. I was very disappointed because it would have been a great protein on the go.

I've tried may energy/protein products and taste is usually a secondary objective - this was particularly dreadful. Chocolate flavor was only token to the chalky main flavor and bitter after-taste. Texture was far thicker than is pleasant, like a super thick shake. Overall I'd pass on these.

The flavor itself is okay — slightly chocolatey and not overly sweet, which I appreciate. But the texture really held it back for me. It felt quite chalky and left a noticeably dry, powdery feeling in my mouth after each sip. Even shaking it well didn't seem to help much. I love the nutrition profile and the clean ingredients, but the drinking experience just wasn't enjoyable. If the texture were smoother, this could easily be a winner — for now, it's just average at best.
