You can tell a good bit of sweetener was added, but it’s not very “chocolate-y” in flavor. The packaging is nice and convenient and I like the idea of getting 32g of protein in this, but I cannot get past the taste. There is not enough chocolate flavor for me and it tastes very artificially sweet. I would not buy this or recommend.

I do not like the flavor or the weird sweet after taste that lingers for too longer right after drinking it. I tried it over ice and blended, it was ok. It contains all essential amino acids and prebiotic fiber as well. It definitely tastes like a protein drink still but has a more pleasant flavor than other protein drinks I’ve had. It tastes like a chocolate malt shake. I enjoyed it.

No chalky film or crack after taste. I like to mix mine with iced coffee and a little bit of mocha syrup. It’s a perfect treat!

The consistency was really good, however, there was kind of an odd after taste to me… But nothing I couldn’t get past! I did end up finishing the whole bottle and it kept me full for quite a while! It’s rich and chocolatey as ever, especially compared to a lot of other brands that can taste chalky or overly sweet. I already consume OWYN on my own, so reviewing this was an easy choice for me. As someone who’s lactose intolerant, this digests super easily and never upsets my stomach, which is a huge win. It also mixes perfectly, and I use it all the time in my morning espresso drinks for an easy protein boost. It always hits the spot. This will definitely continue to be my go-to.
