These are my absolute favorite protein shakes. They actually taste good!!! They frequently go on back order because they’re super popular so I bought 5 cases. Thinking of buying 5 more.

Very strong chocolate flavor, bitter and metallic (I thing from stevia) tastes. Not sure green leaf vegetables with any kind of flavor especially chocolate flavor would set.

The shelf life is great too for those who like to stock up. It absorbs really nice and the texture is great. Not too thin not too thick. The after taste is chocolaty and perfect!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The drink was smooth and silky feeling but the taste was horrible. The monk fruit extract used to sweeten the drink was so overpowering. I could smell it soon as I poured out the drink, and it was all I could taste. I really wish companies would just use a tiny bit of real sugar instead of all these horrible tasting sweeteners. I could not get past two sips of this because it was so disgusting.

It’s pretty thick, so it feels more like a meal than a drink. No sugar and totally plant-based is a nice bonus. Overall, it’s great if you want something filling and not overly sweet.

The taste was very good and the texture was smooth and creamy—something I haven’t experienced with many plant-based protein shakes. In the past, most plant proteins I’ve tried had a gritty consistency, but this one did not at all. It went down easily and had a nice, clean flavor. I’ve had bariatric surgery, so I’ve tried several different protein shake brands over time, and I usually prefer whey-based shakes. I typically don’t love plant-based options, but OWYN really stood out and changed my opinion. It provides a great amount of protein, which is important for my nutritional goals. While the calories were slightly higher than my personal target (I aim for around 30g of protein and 170 calories per shake per my dietitian’s recommendation), I appreciated that OWYN includes dietary fiber—something whey-based protein shakes usually don’t offer. That added fiber is a nice bonus and helps balance out the calorie difference. Overall, this is one of the best-tasting and smoothest plant-based protein shakes I’ve tried, and I would definitely recommend it, especially for anyone who struggles with the texture of other plant proteins.
