I did taste an aftertaste that was more fragrant I did not like but the packaging is nice and minimal. Maybe with coffee it would be better.

I was excited for this claim because I’ve been a vegetarian most of my life, and have been vegan for several years too. Even so, I had never really tried any vegan protein shakes. I honestly loved this! I was nervous it would have a weird taste but this was super easy to drink and not bad at all. I have some plant-based protein powders that I use regularly that had an acquired taste but I liked this right away. This has a higher protein content than my powders too which is a huge plus. I really liked this and will be going out to buy some more!

Pea protein can often be really grainy in texture but this is pretty smooth and doesn't have the odd aftertaste that some pea protein shakes have. There's a great amount of protein in here and a solid amount pf sodium. I drank this before my workout and it helped keep my vlood sugar stable. It tastes slightly artificial but thats the only detractor.

It lake the sweet richness you might expect from a chocolate shake. But sweetened with monk fruit instead of cane sugar, it’s suitable for keto or low-carb diets and avoid sugar spike. If you really need that 33g of plant protein and want a clean, allergen-free shake with zero sugar, this is a viable option. That said, the flavor and consistency fell short of expectations, and you pay significantly more than for regular OWYN shakes- which might taste better despite offering only 20g protein.

The taste is very artificial, more of a cotton candy tasting chocolate and the zero sugar gives it such a weird taste. Once you sip it, it coats your mouth and throat with a chalky weird film and then BOOM- after taste! The aster taste is SO BAD! It tastes off and made my stomach hurt a little. It also lingers, I had to drink so much water to get the feeling and taste out of my mouth. This is a HARD PASS for me and for anyone looking for a vegan protein drink.
