It's a solid option in terms of nutrition, but the taste wasn't great. Not undrinkable, but definitely not something l'd enjoy regularly. I like the clean ingredients, but the flavor needs some improvement.

Instead it’s one of those items that you buy for a special purpose. I brought it on a long-ish drive and I feel like that’s a good use case for it. The “I need something low maintenance and still high protein”. All this said, it did upset my stomach for a short while.

Over the last three years of weightlifting and locating whatever high-protein products that are actually tasty that I can find (magic spoon cereal, Boba, tea, protein, orgain, protein powders, happy Viking, MorningStar products, chobani, etc). I spent hours, going down Reddit rabbit holes on protein, powders and trying dozens of protein shakes. I have found my favorites and this is not one of them. I find their products to taste like an AI lab concoction and does not feel like I’m eating anything remotely organic or tasty. Even the mouth feel of the liquid is off. This might be some people‘s jam, but it’s not mine.

The taste is horrible. It tastes nothing like a chocolate protein shake should taste like. It is very think with a uncomfortable slimey substance that coats your mouth. The box claims "Fueled by the Truth." but that condescending line really makes me never want to experience "The Truth" again. The packaging claims no filler ingredients but uses gellan gum, a thickener, which acts more like a filler because it's unnecessary.

This has a dark chocolate bitter taste and bad aftertaste. It also has a thicker consistency than the usual shakes. I have to squeeze the cardboard part a little to get some shake to come out. It's almost a pudding texture. I'm cooking these down but I'll never buy them again. Gross!
