[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The OWYN Pro Elite Plant Protein Shake (chocolate) is smooth and creamy, it’s a thicker protein shake but not overly chalky or gritty. Great sweet chocolate taste with no artificial aftertaste. With 35 g. Of plant base protein and free of: dairy, soy, gluten, and nuts this is perfect for me it keeps me full longer due to its fiber and fat content. Easy to digest and without foaming or stubborn clumps when mixed properly.

Instead it’s one of those items that you buy for a special purpose. I brought it on a long-ish drive and I feel like that’s a good use case for it. The “I need something low maintenance and still high protein”. All this said, it did upset my stomach for a short while.

It wasn’t chalky in texture like other protein shakes and was well mixed. I’m sure that has something to do with it being plant based protein. However, I don’t like the taste. It is so sweet even though it said 0g of sugar. I believe it’s from the monk fruit and stevia but honestly, it’s still very sweet for a no sugar added drink.
