I was excited for this claim because I’ve been a vegetarian most of my life, and have been vegan for several years too. Even so, I had never really tried any vegan protein shakes. I honestly loved this! I was nervous it would have a weird taste but this was super easy to drink and not bad at all. I have some plant-based protein powders that I use regularly that had an acquired taste but I liked this right away. This has a higher protein content than my powders too which is a huge plus. I really liked this and will be going out to buy some more!

The only reason I rated four stars instead of five was because it tastes a lot like pea protein. If it didn’t taste so much like that, I would rate it five stars.

The chocolate flavor could’ve been better honestly. I believe it did help me out with maintaining for awhile but I just didn’t like it.

I don’t usually go for plant-based protein, but this one really surprised me. The chocolate flavor is rich and smooth, and over ice it tastes like a cold, creamy treat. I used it as a meal replacement during my weight loss regimen and it kept me full and satisfied without making me feel heavy or bloated. The ingredients are clean with 32g of plant protein from pea, pumpkin seed and flax, no sugar, and no weird aftertaste. The texture is thick but smooth and easy to drink with no chalkiness. This worked well for my goals and tasted better than I expected. I would definitely purchase again.

The taste was not what I expected, it just felt like artificial sugar, pretty much like when you’re drinking a can of diet sodas. Maybe it’s just me and other people may enjoy it, but as for me, I did not expect it to taste like a diet soda.

I LOVE these pro elite OWYN Chocolate shakes. Many protein shakes give me bad headaches and this one doesn't at all, its Amazing! However...they are Very Thick in consistency so if that is something that might both you than I suggest blending it with ice and just cutting off one of the side tabs to pour it in a blender faster. I enjoy it in chocolate because it hides the flavors of the kale which can tend to be strong naturally so this shake had done an Awesome job there! I drink it straight (which is thick) but doesn't bother me, in my coffee as a mocha, and blended with ice (and a little bit of water). Most reading this will have a hard time drinking it straight, I recommend just blending it with water and ice. I Love this shake! Its a great deal at full price and on sale compared to whats on the market right now. Sam's club please keep this one on the shelves!

It is sugar-free, but I found it to be sickeningly sweet from the monk fruit sweetener and also left a bad artificial aftertaste and dry feeling in my mouth. The shake is thick like a milkshake. The ingredients look great and the nutrition panel is good. Love that it is dairy-free and allergen friendly. If the taste is acceptable to you, then this would be a good option for vegan protein.
