It was very smooth and creamy and the nondairy proteins (flaxseed oil, pea and pumpkin seed proteins) didn't throw off the taste at all. At first the stevia after taste hit me a bit because I'm not very used to that, but it was easy to acclimate to and find the rest of the shake enjoyable. I was pleasantly surprised at how small and intelligible the ingredients list was and, for having avoided so many common allergens and sensitivities in making this drink, I can't imagine how it could be improved in taste an texture.

It is sugar-free, but I found it to be sickeningly sweet from the monk fruit sweetener and also left a bad artificial aftertaste and dry feeling in my mouth. The shake is thick like a milkshake. The ingredients look great and the nutrition panel is good. Love that it is dairy-free and allergen friendly. If the taste is acceptable to you, then this would be a good option for vegan protein.

A little thick for my taste, but if I add some ice and combine in my blender, this flavor is VERY good! If you like really thick out of the bottle shakes, you will love these.
