I bought a bunch of these last year when they were on sale, they WERE good back then, thick consistency, not too sweet, etc. I picked up another box of them recently while in Sam's and tried one of these today. YUCK! 🤮 I about spit it out on my keyboard. They absolutely ruined this product. It's grossly sweet now, and thin like chocolate water or chocolate milk made with skim milk. I could not stomach it and had to throw it out. I contacted the company and sure enough, they've changed the formulation. I am returning this to Sam's Club at their request given my severe distaste for this. Shame that they murdered a really good product but the the penny-pinchers got a hold of the formulation. Soon Owyn will be a distant memory lost to the sands of time.

Not sure if I got a bad box or what but these turned to pudding type texture after putting in the refrigerator. So thick it wouldn’t pour out of bottle …. Just globbed out like pudding. I’d purchased them before and this didn’t happen. I do like the shake bc of ingredients but if this is the norm , yuck..

As someone who is lactose intolerant, I appreciate that this is high in protein despite being plant based. It's slightly thick but not overly so and actually tastes like chocolate. It does have that chalky taste that protein shakes have but that doesn't bother me.

It also was still a little hard on my stomach to digest, but I do have a sensitive stomach. I would love to try some of their other flavors though, as this is a nice snack/ light lunch at work or on the go

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is surprisingly very nice. It says no sugar but it's definitely very sweet. The best part is it's a dairy free option. It's really nice. It's very hard to find something which has a 32 g protein and It doesn't taste like cardboard. I would say this is pretty similar to fair life protein shake, and tastes amazing. The consistency is just like you would have with the whole milk, protein shake, and the after taste is very pleasant I would recommend this one.

Sams: You should know that I bought a BJ's membership last year specifically to buy one single item. That item being the monkfruit sweetened Owyn protein that they sell. Now that you offer this product, in a slightly superior formulation, at a lower price, I will be canceling my BJ's membership and buying this and many other products at Sam's. This product is awesome. It is clean-keto friendly, dairy-free, high protein, tastes great, and uses the only sweetener that anyone should ever really use (monkfruit). If Owyn could only figure out how to remove the sunflower oil, it would be truly perfect. But it's the best product on the market right now. I drink at least one every day. BUY THIS!
