This is a pea protein low carb drink. The 4 stars are for the nutrition and low carb, fiber value without the cholesterol. If you need to cut cholesterol pea protein can help. The chocolate flavor is extremely sweet and unpleasant tasting on its own. I recommend mixing it half & half with milk of your choice or unflavored Greek yogurt & ice water. The additional liquids will cut the sweetness to a tolerable level. For the price you can find other low carb protein drinks that taste better with similar nutrients. I will not repurchase only due to disliking the sickening sweetness. I've tried other pea protein flavors & this seems to be a problem with all but the vanilla which is less sweet but still very sweet.

I like that these Owyn Protein shakes are dairy free, have 32 grams of protein & even have greens mixed in. It has a great, thick milkshake texture. Sam's has this 15 pack for a great price. I pay $10 a change for a 4 pack in the grocery store. My favorite is the No-Nut-Butter flavor, I wish Sam's carried that too, but the chocolate is really good too.
