The fact that it is 32 grams of protein is what really drew me in. it’s a perfect base for a breakfast shake. I just have to add a little milk to them to loosen it up for me or ice and water in a blender.

My only complaint is there’s a not so great after taste. But all in all this gave me the energy I needed after a hard workout.

But it definitely packs a massive protein in your diet and for that reason alone I’m giving it three stars because it does what it’s supposed to do. I just wish that it did not taste so artificial.

The OWYN shakes are tasty and reasonably filling. They taste very similar to other ready to drink protein shakes on the market, but I love that they do not contain added or synthetic sugar (they are sweetened with monk fruit) and DO contain omega-3’s. They are free from the top 9 allergens, making them a very accessible choice. The chocolate flavor was tasty and had a nice, thick consistency. I did find it to be a bit chalky, but that isn’t uncommon with packaged protein shakes. Be sure to shake the bottle well, to thoroughly mix all the ingredients. Quick and yummy way to get protein!
