I have had other plant based protein shakes and they were horrible especially the aftertaste. The aftertaste on this OWYN was good still an aftertaste but not horrible or pea yucky. I would definitely purchase and recommend OWYN plant based protein shake.

It's soooo good and the perfect amount of chocolatey.I love that it brings protein so it keeps you full longer and 32 grams is a good amount. There's no nasty aftertaste like other zero sugar products.

This Pro Elite Protein Shake in the flavor of Chocolate had great texture to it. I do like the container it comes in. Easy to store or take on the go. However I cannot recommend. It had a very strong alcohol smell to it and it also tasted like alcohol. It was difficult to finish due to the flavor.

The protein vs calorie ratio was not bad but the flavor wasn't my favorite and it was a bit chalky. However I should say that I prefer whey protein.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have to say I was very surprised by this product. Normally protein shakes have a chalk or powdery after taste, but this one did not. Chocolate flavored for rich and smooth and very nice to palate. I dint notice no bad digestion and it felt good to consume it. It a great product to drink by itself or to add it with your favorite mix like peanut butter , banana or fruit you would like to add to it . Overall it was a great product would definitely consider purchasing. It's a great solution to easy and fast protein intake .

I’m typically a chocolate guy but this tastes like pure dark chocolate. A little too bitter for my doing. However, my son chugged it and said it was great. So it really comes down to preference. If you are already use to protein shake flavor, I would recommend this one as it is smooth with a strong flavor profile. Just not my cup of protein.

Bought a carton of these recently. I believe 12 in a carton. Most all of them had a slow leak in the bottom of each container. If that wasn't enough, the taste of the product was not good. If I had to describe the taste I would say it was like drinking a metallic dark liquid of some kind. I ended up throwing them all away.

In good conscience I cannot recommend OWYN Pro Elite plant Protein Chocolate Shake as it just tastes awful. I couldn't get through the container. Did not even taste chocolatey - if that was the goal. The mouth texture was thin and filmy. Not only did it have a poor taste but it also had a sugar substitute after taste. The icky taste stays with you. There are so many better products out there.
