Thankfully since this was installed, I have not lost any power. When it starts running for five minutes on the day it is set each week, it is not loud to disturb anyone in the morning. Feel confident that when the time comes and we do lose power, the generator will do its job.

This unit is automated to work as it does each week on a test run.. We have peace of mind just knowing its ready to serve our entire dwelling needs for us.. No individual effort needed on our part for the backup.. Its a great arrangement for us.. Thank you, Generac..

When we lose power here it's generally for an extended period of time (several hours). After dealing with a portable generator for years, we finally purchased a Generac 22kw automatic generator. Now there's no wheeling the portable out, filling it with gas, hooking it up and hoping it will crank, most often doing all the above in lousy weather. The very day the installation was completed we lost power for 10 hours. The Generac came on during that time and ran flawlessly. On top of that it was so much quieter than the old portable that it could barely be heard. We love it. I only wish we had made the commitment to purchase years ago. I highly recommend the Generac.

So far we are well pleased with the unit, the auto no load test works well. We look forward to this test every Monday at 10:00 AM, when this happens., it gives us the good filling that we just might not be left in the dark anymore. I am quite pleased with the generator, although we haven't had to really use it ,it is nice knowing that it is there ready for us. My wife had not heard it run yet so I informed her that on Mondays it runs a self diagnostic test, so she she grabed a lawn chair and sat outside to hear it run when it started her first comment was that she had expected it to be a lot louder than it was. Thank you for the great product and the very qualified installers. P.S. my neighbors are jealous.

No news is good news. In the almost 1 year since we purchased it, no power failures, thanks. It faithfully runs 5 minutes every week to let me know its ready and willing when the time comes. Hope it continues on that cycle, best investment I ever made.

Nice generator. The Generac concrete pad is a must in my opinion. Also the generator base trim piece. With both of these options, we are VERY pleased with our unit. A very clean look that Generac has come up with. Not the least bit sorry for purchasing Generac! Should have done it years ago.

I got this generator when I bought my house. The previous had purchased but never hooked it up. After being without power for 9 hours at 0 degree temps I decided to finally bite the bullet and it was one of the best things I've ever done. Now I don't have to worry about my freezers while I'm gone and will have heat when it's 0 degrees. I also have a well so no power means no water. This unit sat untouched for 2 years. After I hooked up the gas piping and put in a battery it fired right up.

We had a 22kwh unit installed this fall (2016) and everything went smooth. The contractors were great and we were able to qualify for the extended warranty (10 years.) One evening recently our power went out. I counted to about 15 and then heard the generator start. In another few seconds, the generator panel switched over to light up our house again. Perfect! We will be having the factory authorized installer out every fall to service the unit. I could not be happier with our decision to purchase this Generac unit.

I purchased my Generac and the installer that represented Generac was wonderful explained everything and was done in a timely fashion. The Generator was up and running and with in a few days I lost electric for 12 hours and the generator kicked in and we where lite up like a Christmas tree at night when our neighbors where in the dark. ( felt bad) since then we have lost power two more times (this is so un usual for us) since then. I have been telling everyone that will listen to me they have to get one. It has more than paid for it self since my husband is handicapped and must have electric. Thank you for a great product. Gerry
