We purchased two 22Kw Whole Home Transfer Switch Back-up with Mobile Link Model: #7043 Natural Gas units in 2023. One unit for our newly built second home in south central Wisconsin and one unit for our home in SW Ohio. Both homes are approximately the same size square footage (approx. 3000sf). We could have gone with an 18Kw unit at each location, but for $500 more we went with the larger capacity unit. The WI unit has already saved us twice from power outages. Like clockwork within 8 seconds the unit kicked in and our entire home, including air conditioning, was engaged for hours like normal. We have the Mobile Link App on both units and we monitor both units in one view on our phones. Both units test weekly like normal for 5 min. The only issue we have had is the WI unit had a software firmware update that kicked the unit to RED and had to be manually reset once on-site. Hoping that will not repeat with future updates. We are very happy with these Generac products and would highly recommend for peace of mind especially with second homes where you are not there full-time.

Just got our standby generator installed. Was very pleased with the service and after the load testing my 22KW unit running my whole home. I have (2) AC Heat Pumps,Hot Tube and all electric appliances. Unit runs at 50% so we still have plenty of capacity. Will have to watch my neighbors to make sure they aren’t running cords over lol. For years my wife and I dream of getting a standby generator. Generac was highly recommended and I found the price to be very reasonable. Right now don't know how I survived so long without my generac. It's reliable and meets my power need to,the fullest. My Generac Guardian Series 7043 ian indeed a dream come true.

Generator has been installed and appears to work well. I have not had the opportunity to power the home in a real loss of power to date. Install team was great to work with. It did take 3 days to install over the course of 6 weeks which is longer than I wanted but at the end of the day they did a good job on install.

The whole house generator works exactly as advertised. The available whole house surge protector from SPS is wonderful. I can now get rid of all the other ones scattered around the house protecting various electronics. Specialized Power Services is customer focused and did an excellent job installing and explaining its features. Two refrigerators and a chest freezer no longer are a concern when the power goes out from falling trees and best yet - our spa is useable. No more gasoline powered generator, attaching it in the rain or snow, to run some products e.g. furnace and a few selected items.

we had already ordered our Generac before Florrence hit but the delivery was delayed . now we are set up and ready for whatever mother nature has in store . the unit is attractive ,runs quietly and the test was simple and very impressive. our representative was very patient and thorough going over our use instructions. we are confident it will be easy to use and he will be there for any questions or concerns we may have. ours is a 22kw/999 guard-no t/sw al

It's a nice unit and a true 14kw on either fuel source what I don't like is 5 minutes a week is not enough for exercise they should run at least 12 minutes and load exercise 4 times a year I can assure you they would have less warranty claims these things are built very well and need to exercise more than they are right now alot of people have been telling Generac this but they aren't listening to good

I purchased and had the Guardian 22KW installed on 041615. We rarely have power outages in our area but I had the Generac installed specifically for Hurricane season. Lo and behold, the day after my generator was installed our area experienced a tornado and power was out in our area for 9 1/2 hours. Three days later we had another bad storm and the area power was out for 6 hours once again. The Generac did just what it is supposed to do. Within seconds of the electricity being disrupted, the Generac kicked on and powered everything we would normally be using for the entire time. We never even would have known the electricity had gone out if we couldn't hear the generator running outside and the few seconds the house went dark before the generator sensed the problem and started automatically. Our generator runs on propane and after being on for close to ten hours, hardly even budged the propane gauge on our 500 gallon tank. It did not even register a gallon used to power the unit for that length of time. We are extremely pleased with our new Generac 22KW and would highly recommend it to friends or family. The professional installers were very efficient and thorough. They did a beautiful job and even completed the installation even though it was storming outside before they were finished. We have had the generator running for only eleven days and it has powered us for (16) very unexpected outage hours. Apparently we got it just in time.

We live in rural area, known for electric utility random outages, so we decided to get ready for the next outage. Our 24KW generator with automatic transfer switch powers up our whole house; HVAC, water heater, range, oven, dryer, well pump, security system, lights, TVs, etc. We invited proposals from a couple contractors. We talked with a few of Balanced Electric's other customers and they gave us a thumbs up recommendation. Our project was done in about 8 weeks, and we're now ready for winter weather.
