We thought the process to install gas and electric and the unit itself was well thought out. When running, we were surprised it was not as noisy as we expected. It looks good positioned behind shrubs to cover it from view. Nice tall slab to mount it on takes away any fears of flooding affecting unit. I recommend the Generac unit. I now feel secure I will have power in case of freeze or hurricane.

Living in the country we depend on electrical energy for our water well pump and sanitary system as well as all household applications. The Generac standby generator gives us peace of mind that we will have running water as well as lights during a utility outage.

I purchased a 22KW whole house Generac one year ago. It starts up every Tuesday for 15 minutes for lubrication and battery charge. You don't even notice that. The power has gone out three times and the transfer switch works so fast you don't even know the power went out for a split second that the only electrical device that needs resetting is the microwave. I don't have to reset a dozen or so clocks. Live in the boonies near the Olympic National forest where wind damage to trees and power poles knock out power for up to 3 days at a time. Now I don't have to worry. General also has the best people they recommend to install the equipment. That is a big plus. Thanks Generac for making our lives better and safer!

My Generac was just installed. The installer did a super job. The installation looks great. The visual of the generator is very good and enhances the overall view of my house. When it was turned on, I started every electric appliance in my house and the generator never missed a beat. I went through Harvey with a small portable generator to which I had to add gas and oil every few hours. Now I will be able to run everything and never add fuel because it runs on natural gas. Everything is automatic so I won't have to worry about electricity if I am gone during a storm. Pease of mind is worth a lot.

Recently had the whole house generator installed. The employees doing the install were great and very knowledgeable. I did lose power about a week later for a short time and the generator came on exactly as it should. Would recommend this generator and Metro Electric to anyone in the market.

Bought the Generac Guardian 22Kw with disconnect and WiFi. Interviewed 6 licensed electrical contractors, 2 were Generac Dealers. GO WITH AN AUTHORIZED DEALER the others may be good electricians but they just don't know all that the authorized dealer did. Also have it serviced by that dealer. Asked if I should keep my backup gas generator and the dealer said, I install a number of different Brands of Standby whole house generators but by far more Generacs because I can honestly say they are simply bullet proof and will be there when you need it, PERIOD.

I BOUGHT THE 7210 24 KW GENERATOR, ALSO BOUGHT THE PAD THAT YOU CAN GET TO PUT THE GENERATOR ON. SAVED A LOT OF WORK AND LOOKS GREAT. IT IS COLD HERE IN NORTH DAKOTA SO WE GOT THE BATTERY WARMER, OIL HEATER AND INTAKE HEATER SO EASY START IN THE WINTER TIME. THIS IS A WELL MADE GENERATOR AND RUNS VERY SMOOTH. WE HAVE IT SET UP TO RUN FOR 5MINUTES EVERY SUNDAY, A FEATURE I LIKE VERY MUCH. WE HAVE USED IT TWO TIMES SINCE WE INSTALLED IT WORKED GREAT. WHAT A RELIEF!!!!!!

I'm an engineer for the DoD and we have been using Generac products for years on our builds so I know first hand the quality and dependability. We've only had our home unit for a few months now but it's nice to have that peace of mind should a hurricane or storm come our way. Definitely worth the investment.

PGE power outages are now part of living in California. We used to pack our food up in ice chests and head for a hotel. The Generac we installed lifted a huge burden off my shoulders. A minor few seconds after the outage and it kicks in automatically. Everything in the house works great and we keep going like normal. Awesome product!!!
