Did a lot of research and decided on Generac. I am chairman of the board of our local power provider. I had our our staff spec out my size needs, based on my peak usage for the past 6 months. I bought a unit much larger than recommended. When final hook up was done(very expensive) we could not even test the unit because a starter battery was not included. Then the state electrical inspector and my local professional electrician informed me that the breaker in the unit was abou 1/2 of what was needed to power this unit. I still do not have it on line. Very disappointed at this time.

Excellent System! During Hurricane Ida, we lost power on that Sunday afternoon, was restored Friday evening. System kicked on, was shut down daily to check oil, which it did not use a drop. Ran my house with no problems, even able to wash and dry clothes. Used double oven. My daughter and her son came over because they lost power as well, brought the food out her refrig and freezer to keep it from spoiling. One thing to note, system stayed relatively cool, unlike portable generators I have used in the past. So this unit should last a long time. Haven't got my gas bill yet, but I didn't have to go in search of gas or go out twice a day and fuel the unit, so that's a plus right there

In our former home, we had a 20kw Generac Guardian. In our new home, we now have the 22kw model and it is even quieter that our previous unit. Plus, we have the the Cold Weather Kit. Our older generator never failed to start, although sometimes it did crank a time or two before "kicking over." With the Cold Weather Kit, I now can sleep with both eyes closed. Tom M.

We have had this for less than a month, but it was needed last night during power outage in severe thunderstorm. Never having this before, I was holding my breath when it dawned on me ... oh my goodness, it really does work. Went to bed and right to sleep!

T&M Services did a great job! I am so happy with Generac at this point. You keep improving and making them better. Ya, it is not cheap, but trust me, worth every penny. I was without power for 6 days in TN due to an ice storm. Never again! I wonder about the countries infrastructure and fear this may be more common than it was in the past. I don't need to think about it anymore. I'm not trying to scare anyone, it was just a choice that was right for me. Generac is an amazing product and I am really happy about it. The wifi connection and ease of how it works. Automatic, you don't have to do anything. I have a portable generator that helped me get by, forget that now! Go for it!!

I feel more secure and safe now that I know I have a reliable product like the Generac protecting my me and my home. I have talked to many neighbors who have stopped by to ask about it and always gave it a glowing review. Get ready to get busy with new neighbor installs!

Our 26KW generac was delivered and installed May 16th. It ran 3 test cycles and then we had a 90 minute power outage. We immediately noticed oil spillage all over our freshly poured concrete pad. We open the Generac and there was frsh oil all inside. We contacted our dealer and they diagnosed that the seal was improperly installed from the factory. A few later, the technician took everything apart and fix the issue during about 3 hours. We purposely ran the Generac for another hour to ensure there was no oil leakage. We accepted that there may a bit of residue. The machine ran other test cycle and there is oil spillage again. We are so disappointed that our machine seems to be a lemon and has endured this much work and it is barely 1 month old. Now what ? please help

Installed Dec 2019, Westhaven, would listen to it start up and run every two weeks for 10 minutes to keep itself ready. Power went out January 2021 for two days, it fired up 10 seconds after power went out and never shut down. Ran everything in the house no problem and we were the only ones around able to do everything we normally do in our house. Had friends come over in the morning to go duck hunting and they said it was weird as we were only home with lights on. Best investment ever !!!!!!!!

Due to covid & the resulting supply chain backup it took 7 months to receive our generator & due to Winter weather several more to have our tank buried & the generator operational. No power outages yet but every weekend the unit starts like a charm & goes through the exercise period. Our dealer, Cox Electric of North Kingstown, RI & propane company, Consumer Propane of Woonsocket, RI were excellent to deal with. Generac has a great reputation & I'm confident were going to be very happy when the next power outage comes around.

I Had 22 K Generator with Transfer Switch Delivered. Shipper loaded it on my Small trailer, hooked it to my riding mower, Pulled into back yard and slid it off onto concrete pad I poured the week before. I Hired an Electrition to help me hook Generator to House. The Aluminum Box makes it easy to make holes to attach the Conduit for Wireing. The Generac Unit works great and was easily programmed, Activation Code was simple to Get on line. Thanks for the piece of mind I have, Not worrying that the Utillity Power will fail when we have lightening or Ice Storms.
