I'll have to write another review after our first power outage. Just had the unit installed and can't comment on too much yet but it does give us some peace of mind and just a bit of worry that it will actually do what it's supposed to do. Chris, our startup rep, was so knowledgeable - I doubt we'll remember 3/4 of what he told us but if we need him, he can walk us through whatever it needs. Shouldn't even say this but I'm almost hoping for a power outage!

I am extremely happy and satisfied with the performance and features of the unit. I have a 3600 sq. ft home with 7 tons of A/C. The unit handled everything I could throw at it and didn't miss a beat. However, the unit has a small oil leak at the oil filter mounting base. The installer has changed out the oil filter on 3 occasions thinking it may have been a bad batch of filters. Both he and I think it is most likely an issue with the mounting surface that may be slightly warped as we cannot see any scratches or nicks. We are working with Generac to have this issue resolved and as of yet, it has not. Other than this, I am extremely satisfied and would have put quality as excellent if it were not for this one issue.

We love the Generac and it is a great product. It looks like the Generac will a long time tool at our home. It looks great and because of Generac's reliable reputation we will feel safe and sound when and if the power go out. Bill and Susan Dawson.

Had a 7 kw Mil Bank generator for 11 yrs started to have a a lot of trouble with it they went out of business so nobody works on them , purchased a 14kw generac just had it installed today 2/8/22 so have to wait and see how it works, the company that installed it did a excellent job.

As a lifelong resident of North Florida, I have always been concerned with the risk of losing power during hurricane season, both at home and at work. For several years, I considered having a whole house generator installed, but could not justify the cost. I had done enough research that I knew that I wanted a Generac unit, as it appeared to have become the standard in backup power units, much like Apple products has done with cell phones, and Microsoft has accomplished with computers. When Hurricane Irma left us without power for 5 days, I began researching units again, and was pleasantly surprised that the unit cost had continued to decline. With hurricane season approaching again, we decided the cost was justifiable. We had a unit installed last week. The Automatic Transfer Switch works like a charm. It senses when power is lost and automatically starts the generator. Likewise, when regular power is restored, the switch senses that and starts the generator shut down process. As the owner, I didn't have to lift a finger! While we do not ever want to face another hurricane, the likelihood of that happening is slim to none. We are now prepared. Generac has made life easier!

After many power outages in our neighborhood I decided to get the Generac backup generator. Not only were we out of power but also water because we have a well. There are many mature trees in our older neighborhood and everytime there is a storm there is a big chance the trees will take out a power line. Time to rest easy.

My house is all electric and for several years I've gotten by with a portable generator, but it couldn't power my entire house. The Generac Guardian 22kw is just the thing for whole house electric power. Installation took place over 5 days, pour the pad (over weekend to set) place generator & 250 gallon tank, then transfer switch install. Finally the battery was installed and unit started. My Heat Pump was turned on then; both heat & air, worked perfectly. Electric hot water tank operates normally under the generator power along with all my other appliances. Weekly 5 minute test run was then programmed; the generator started & stopped on time. Completely satisfied .

In the first year after installing this generator, I had to use it 6 times. Once during the El Dorado Fire (gender reveal fire). It was 110 degrees out and someone set off explosives in a field nearby which ended up burning our mountain community for over a week. During that time there was no power from the grid. My generator kicked in and provided power for me, enough to keep all of the refrigerators running, A/C, well pump and TV. I don't know what I would have done without it, as it was over 100 degrees out and I couldn't open any windows due to extreme amounts of smoke from the nearby fire. I also rely on electricity to pump water in the house from the well. I was able to use all of my appliances. This generator has been a wise investment for me.

I've wanted to install a generator for several years now but pulled the trigger when they offered a 10 year extended warranty option for free. The install process went well but took about 11 hours to do. The finished product looked good. I wish there was an option of some colors because the buscuit color sticks out against a darker color house. The dealer, Lee Legler, did a great job and answered all my questions. The first test run went well. I also like the app you have that lets the homeowner monitor the generator's status.

Knowing that the generator automatically provided electricity for the whole house is very comforting. The installers were very professional and completed everything in one day. Having the annual maintenance agreement ensures that the unit will be taken care of every year
