I love these tamales! They are vacuumed sealed as individual servings of 4 tamales with a total of 3 sealed packages in one bag. These are these best store bought tamales my husband & I have found. We are hooked on these now. Serve with rice & beans, sliced avocado and you have a meal from heaven.

If you are a tamale lover, give these a try. I bought these in hopes they might be OK. They are more than OK, they are delicious. They come packed in groups of four inside a seal-a-meal type bag. Place a bag in boiling water for 25 minutes and you will have 4 perfectly done tamales when you remove them from the bag!

I had the tamales for breakfast as personal preference and also shared with others to get their opinion as well. as soon as I warmed it up it smelled delicious. the taste is good. they are not spicy which is good for me. not the best I've had. It was too greasy for me and my friends. the texture of the masa was good and delicious. It has pieces of fat from the meat, jalapeno seeds and onions which is not my preference. The meat tastes good. But they are store bought so over all they are good.

Mmm... Padrino Pork Tamales, each one of these athentic tamale are Huge! Packaging is portioned into four seperate boil in bags of four tamales, each wrapped in corn husks, perfect for the two of us. EXCELLENT taste EASY preperation... Equals YUMmm...

Recived the Padrino tamales today via FedX. They arrived in a styraphom cooler with ice. They come 4 tamles to a pack, pack of the for 12 tamales total. We took one pack unopened and place it in boiling water for 20 minutes. Took them out and they were right over 165°. I was skeptical, never had tamales this way. They are good. The masa and meat have a wonderful flavor and the masa to meat ratio is perfect. My son who lives his grandma's tamales gave them an 8.5 out of ten. I like that you can make four at a time. Just enough to get a tamales fix without all the labor. Will be keeping Padrino Tamales in the freezer. Really impressed with the eash of heating up and the flavor.

I was really surprised and pleased with the quality of these tamales. Seasoning is spot on, filling is well proportioned with the masa dough. For extra sauce I used the local grocery store house brand of enchilada sauce. Easy to heat and serve straight from the microwave. Satisfies my need for Mexican food without leaving home.

I want to start off with packaging for the 12 count tamales! They are in three separate vacuum sealed bags!! You don’t have to eat all at once. Awesome for refrigerating! I popped one bag in the microwave and followed instructions, and let me tell you worked like a charm. Now let’s go on to the tamale, pretty big and decent! I would say a TexMex tamale, a lot more filling then other tamales. I bought and I’ve tasted from the stores or from street vendors. Definitely very filling and flavorful, picky teenage son gobbled them right up. This would be a solid buy. Only one con, a little greasy. Kudos!

These are pretty legit! There is more meat than masa and the flavoring is good. They aren't dry either! If you're looking for a cheap and easy tamale and you're not fortunate enough to live near authentic Mexican food spots, these are a great option!

I used to get tamales from a friend Eberto. His mom made them every few weeks which was a special treat. She is no longer making them though. Compared to restaurant tamales, these are much better..almost as good as hers. These are easy to heat and clean up. There are three vacuum pack bags of four. Put bag in boiling water for 15-20 minutes. Add sour cream and hot sauce, you are ready to go. Give them a try. Just don’t take the last bag so it will be there for me..

The pork tamales were good not the best that I have had. The filling had some heat and was flavorful. The masa was moist which I prefer. However, I prefer the pork filling to be shredded rather than ground. Otherwise, I will give it a medium rating because of the differences I noted above. In my opinion, they are just so so.
