These pork tamales are very meaty and flavorful! I ordered online, and it came frozen in a styrofoam box with an ice pack. It was sectioned off into three vacuum sealed bags with 4 tamales in each section; the perfect portion size for my little family! We microwaved the tamales for 2 minutes and they were so delicious. The only reason I didn't rate it 5 stars is because I found it a bit fatty. The plate was drenched in oil but I simply patted the oil off with a napkin and everyone enjoyed!

I couldn't really say that I liked them, they're not bad but they weren't entirely to my liking, they're a good size but they don't have the homemade flavor they say, and the meat looks like ground beef and they break when eaten. I’m sorry but I’ll pass

I am not a fan of store bought tamales, but these are SO good! The masa is not too thick. The filling is meaty and delicious. The pork is seasoned perfectly, although these are not spicy at all. I was also surprised to find the tamales sealed in a bag that you boiled to heat, but if you follow the directions, the tamales reheat perfectly and are not dried out at all. A definite must buy if you want a delicious tamale!

Heating them by placing a sealed package in boiling water yields moist tamales (reheating in the microwave wasn’t bad either) that make a good meal. Served with yellow rice or other desired accompaniment rounds out a dinner.

While I'm not always a huge fan of tamales since I find many of them fairly dry, these are very tasty and juicy with a nice texture. Love the pork flavor. Each tamale is a very good sized portion and can easily be a meal by itself when combined with some sour cream and salsa, along with a few chips. Has changed my opinion of tamales!

I tasted the Padrino Pork Tamales and was pleasantly surprised. I live on the border and we make tamales ourselves during the holidays so I am very familiar with them, how they should look, feel and taste. First things first...these are tamales that are not going to be as good as fresh tamales or some you can buy locally. On the other hand if you live in an area where they are hard to come by or want to have some in your freezer for a craving, then definitely they would be a good option. The tamales were shipped frozen in a Styrofoam container with dry ice and made it in good condition. There were 3 packages and I used one and warmed it up in a microwave. I could have put them in a pan to heat them up that way but was in a hurry. The tamales came out very tasty, they were also very moist(and a tad oily, although I suspect it would be different if heated on a grill or pan) The taste of the corn maza was pretty good and not dry and the pork meat was well seasoned and moist too. Last of all the tamales were a good size as well, not too small nor too big. Again, I was expecting something less and was actually pleasantly surprised. I would definitely buy them and take them to a work luncheon for example or when I need something quick but will still be tasty and of good quality.

These are delicious. They are vacuum sealed in packs of 4 which is excellent for portioning. They heated very well in boiling water by following the directions. They held together very well and have a great mild spicy flavor. My wife says they are too hot for her. I’d liken the spicy to a medium jalapeño. She does agree to them being a delicious Tex-Mex flavor. I made a green Chile sauce to top mine with. The individual tamales are about 1 inch in diameter and about 6 inches long.

Southern New Mexican review will probably be a little harsh. These tamales were very oily coming out of the package. Messy to eat! Really little flavor what so ever . The masa was a fine ground and the filling was good amount. Definitely need some more spice!

I like to review new to me products but this one has me a bit stumped. I like tamales and have always had them fresh made and steamed. If you have ever made them you know it takes a little time. I was thinking quick and easy but I am not sure about the texture. These are boil in the bag and that had been different for me.

These tamales are massive! Overall I really liked the pork tamales. They are packaged really well, I like how they are vacuum sealed in groups of four. It makes it very convenient to cook a few at a time. The flavor is very good and there is a good amount of meat in each tamale. My only criticism is the masa is a little thicker than I would like.
