Bought these and put them in the freezer. Almost forgot about them! Pulled them out and cooked 4 of the 12 and they were GREAT! Excellent texture, taste and they are LARGE. Gonna have to have a backup pack in the freezer cause I don't want to run out.

These Tamales are huge tried the beef and pork, and to be honest you can't tell the difference in taste, very simple, thick masa flavorless, as is the meat filling as well, these are just terrible greasy mess. Why is the meat dark/black? These would be my very last resort tamales, even the HEB ones are better. The only thing going for them is the low price for what you get.

I bought these because Sam’s did not have the ones they normally do. The tamales are large but chunks of meat were greasy and grisly. We have four sons and they love tamales with all the fixings, unfortunately they did not like these and most were thrown out.

I bought these because I had been wanting tamales! OMG! STAY AWAY THEY TASTE NASTY! I'm picky but these shouldn't be on the shelves as to how bad they taste. I would definitely not recommend anyone to buy them! And who ever does recommend them I guess they have never tasted tamales before! Ewww! YUCK! STAY AWAY!!

These are okay, but will not buy again. They are insanely greasy and have bits of hard...something in them. Overall flavor is not terrible, but definitely leaves something to be desired. It's more of a ground meat than it is pork. The masa does not seem like authentic masa you would get when you order a tamale. I wish Sam's would keep the great products they use to sell. The tamales they sold about 7 years ago were delicious. These, are not great.

My friend's 85 year old Grandma from Mexico made the best tamales I've ever had. Padrino tamales are the closest to my friend's Grandma period. No other tamale, whether store bought or in a restaurant, even comes close. I wish they had the habanero flavor available at the store!
