The material is thick and sturdy on the umbrella. I put it up every day as it shades my glass sliding doors from the Sun and heat. It has with stood some winds without any damage to it.

Great umbrella. I purchased the haze color. It's like a dusty blue. The umbrella comes wrapped with a cover that you can use to store it. Good quality.

Outstanding, we love it! I would describe it as heavy duty. It has Sunbrella fabric, sturdy metal pole, and the ribs are held in place by pockets at each point instead of staples. It has held up great on days with heavy wind gusts.

Very nice heavy duty fabric. Grenadine color is rich and expensive looking. Great well made umbrella. Much, much more than I expected for the price. I'm getting another one!

We just purchased two additional red umbrellas to add to the four we bought last year. The color is still perfect after a year of unrelenting California sun. Would highly recommend.

We bought 4 of these umbrellas 6 years ago and they've stood up well to being outside for 4-5 months a year in New England. One crank broke and we ordered a new one to replace that one and one more to have. The price is excellent as is the quality. Would highly recommend.

We purchased four orange umbrellas about 7 years ago from Sams Club. We've used them in the desert year round, closing them in high winds and storing in the garage some. The color is still vibrant and they are still functional. We decided to add two more, as they've served us well.

Not the same heavy-duty quality as those from previous years, unfortunately. Neither in fabric weight or metal framing. BUT great color selection -- the gray goes perfectly with new ext. house paint colors, as does the black pole instead of the older bronze. And cannot beat the price for the quality or prompt delivery & service (exchanged the orange color for gray). Hoping they last many years as did my Member's Mark! I've recommended them to many friends & family, no one disappointed yet! :D

This an upgrade to the patio umbrella we had for the past six years. It's awesome. it covers a larger range, and the UV resistant is outstanding however it needs a good patio table to support it so that it doesn't fall when it gets very windy. I'm not sure if it will do well on it's own without any support. We usually don't sit out on the patio for morning coffee on the weekends, after June, but this umbrella creates a wonderful shade that protects us from the scorching heat. I have not missed a Sunday morning coffee on the patio since the weather became warm, except when I'm working. I gave this umbrella four stars because, Sams's did not tell buyers it didn't include the stand. The umbrella is a good buy, the price is good, and by the way the stand is cheaper and stronger compared to others sites. I wish Sam's had told us it did not include the stand, because I observed a lot of buyers assumed like I did that it comes with the stand. We have had it for a month, and it has been a delight compared to the old one.

Always be sure to get true Sunbrella fabric as it lasts for years. The auto-tilt functions wonderfully, just keep cranking it up and it tilts. Seems to be good quality thru-out. We love the color (we choose Peacock), the delivery, the price. Thanks Sam's
