THE TANK WAS WELL PUT TOGETHER, BUT I COULD NOT GET IT FILLED.......................THAT DID NOT HELP.WHEN I PURCHASED THE TANK IT WAS WITH THE INTENTION THAT I WOULD LEAVE THE STORE WITH IT FILLED...................HOME DEPOT WAS $5.00 MORE HOWEVER, I WOULD HAVE A NEW TANK FILLED...................DID NOT TAKE THE TANK

great tank, feels like its well made. its a 30 lb tank that holds a good amount of fuel. too large to be for a empty trade for full at stores and gas stations. doesn't fit under the grill, so its chained up on the back side. it's also cheaper to fill at tractor supply even if was a 20 pounder. i use the grill frequently so i wanted a larger tank.

The tank appeared to be brand new. Tanks have an authorized life of 10 or 12 years, and each tank is dated for its manufacturing date so you know when to throw it away. My brand new tank had a manufacture date of June 2019, and I received it from Walmart in April 2020. So, I purchased a NEW tank, but the one that was delivered was already 10 months old, and its shelf life can NOT be extended. This is frustrating. Ron T.....

Leaking. DANGEROUS! Received it a couple days ago. Started leaking as soon as we got it filled with propane today. Now we are stuck with a disaster! Propane leaking out and nothing we can do about it. Don’t recommend buying from this seller. Don’t recommend buying from Walmart. Total dangerous waste of the cost of the tank and a full tank of propane. 0 STARS

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] ordered two tanks, one was fine, one came in with some damage. Had a dent in the side of the tank and the handle/collar at the top was bent. Will have to wait unti I get it filled to see if it CAN be filled and if it will pass inspection.

The propane tank is a good value, and seems fine, in spite of being very poorly packed by the 3rd party seller. The tank had obviously rolled around inside the box... there was no packing around the tank. The box was in very poor condition and had been heavily retaped. Tracking indicates the box was delayed overnight at a FedEx Facility... this may explain why.

Just like my 4 other 30 lb. propane tanks...only less expensive! The only complaints I ever have about these things are capacity (this one exceeds its 6.8 gallon advertised capacity) and the handle placement (this one has a handle on both sides instead of just one in the back). So I have no complaints.

This is an excellent propane cylinder and exactly as described. Shipping time was really good as it came one day before estimated. I would have given this product and transaction 5 stars if it weren’t for the use of styrofoam packing peanuts as a means for cushioning the cylinder during shipment. The styrofoam peanuts make a mess during unpacking and cannot be recycled or easily reused.

One photo says a 1000 words. Beware of this shipper. The tanks that I got were beat, scuffed, dented and looked like rejects from a yard sale. What a disgrace! The up side, I had them tested and they held. I contacted Wal Mart and they provided a partial discount to keep them. For my own personal satisfaction, I'll clean and sand and repaint. They may not take pride in their shipping practices, but I take pride in taking care of my things. I'll make them look new again so they look nice on our travel trailer. Buyer beware. If you order, you know what to expect.

Was concerned about shipping damages that others had mentioned. Not a problem at all. Packed in biodegradable peanuts. Found that out when hands were wet from washing them and was removing the peanuts from the boxes which were full. Transferred them to garbage bags and sprinkled with water and they shrank to a quarter of original making disposal easier. Tanks were vacuum sealed making it easy for the first fill. Quality looks to be excellent. Surprised that the country of origin is Vietnam.
