This backpack is excellent! It looks exactly as advertised, and it's clearly made from quality materials including the zippers judging by its feel and how it holds up at school in the hands of my toddler. WHAT I LOVE: - The dedicated lunchbox compartment is really nice. It even has a zippered mesh pocket inside where you can slip your ice packs, and it has an insulated lining! - The stretchy water bottle sleeve is convenient. - The optional companion products with matching print are very cool and worth buying in my opinion! You can see in the photos the other items that I bought: the ice packs, the water bottle, and the stainless steel bento lunchbox (which IS heavy as reviewers mention but also will last forever I think). - Customer service is great! The silicone handle on the matching water bottle tore somehow and they sent me a new one right away. WHAT YOU MIGHT WANT TO KNOW BEFORE BUYING: - Pay attention to the dimensions. I think it offers plenty of space and it's perfect for my toddler. However, if you're looking for an extra large backpack for your teenager to carry all of their textbooks, binders, and tablet, this is probably not for you I'm guessing. - Not really a big deal at all but I noticed that the side mesh pocket feels a little close to the bottom zipper. Sometimes I'm worried it will snag there. So far so good, so probably just a very minor concern. OVERALL OPINION: Worth buying. I can see why it has good reviews. Love it!

Having the ice pack is a game changer for us. I know that his lunch will stay cooler longer while in school which makes a difference in the health and quality of the food my son is eating. The box is easy to open for him and the compartments are a perfect size.

We love that this comes with a chill tray. My daughter started kindergarten this year and it’s important for us that we keep her food at the right temperature. Love how small and compact the lunch boxes are. It’s not heavy and easy to open and close. The design definitely adds a fun touch to lunch.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Bentgo Kids Chill box works great. The ice tray keeps our food cold until lunch. It seals well to keep the liquid in the compartments so it does not spill over or leak. It is easy to wash and the food tray is dishwasher safe. It is a great box for kids.

I did a trial run at home with the ice pack and wasn’t impressed. It didn’t stay cold for hardly 2 hours. But other than that it’s a very cute lunch box and easy for a small child to open. I would be afraid to pack something that requires it to be kept cool for more than an hour or hour and a half.

I am a pediatric registered dietitian and I absolutely love these boxes. I use them for myself, my husband and my kids (ages 3.5 and 18 months), and always recommend them to my patients. After about 9 months of continued use, the Bentgo Chill did develop mold on the silicone liner and despite multiple attempts to remove it nothing helped. However, I reached out to Bentgo and they replaced it very seamlessly for which I am very grateful.

I bought a two pack and was really excited to try it, however I’m truly disappointed with it. I started using it for my 7 year old in March and it’s already growing mold and the leakage it’s another solid problem. I had my bentgo kids for two years straight without a problem. I only upgraded as my child grew as well, but without a doubt this was a terrible upgrade. I think it is better to try a different lunchbox and ice pack apart.

I bought a set of lunch and snack boxes. I am very satisfied with my purchase.The food remains fresh and I have not noticed any leak thus far. I contacted customer services as the lunch box was hard to open and they reacted quickly, sending me a replacement box.

I bought this four months ago, have been cleaning per instructions. Product warped and won’t close now, though I am told I am getting a replacement. Also, the two large bento boxes in the lunchbox are a tad small, can be a tight squeeze to get half a sandwich or an applesauce/yogurt pouch to fit.

My son loves these lunch boxes. And so do I. They are very easy to pack and keep everything in one place. I do not have to pack multiple containers and have to find fitting lids anymore. Makes packing lunches so much easier. Their customer service is amazing as well. They were super responsive to any inquiries, are super friendly and resolve in a timely manner. Definitely a customer for life here!
