Quality of wood and hardware is very good...no chipped discolored wood and location of pre-drilled holes is accurate. Instructions are better than most others and have detailed steps and pictograms of assembly with ballooned enlargements for clarity. Wood and hardware are all marked and accurate...pre-assembly is critical to success - group all like wood parts and organize hardware by number and your assembly will be efficient.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our big project this summer was to add a swim spa to our back patio. As we live on a heavily wooded lot, we decided to purchase a gazebo to erect over the pool in order to afford it some protection from falling branches, leaves, etc. After much research, we chose Backyard Discovery's 12'x16" Norwood. We settled on this company due to their consistently positive reviews, high quality & attractive designs. Our gazebo was delievered quickly & complete. Instructions were straightforward & easy to understand, with everything clearly labeled. This may sound like a small detail, but on a large project like this it makes a big difference: Drilled holes were where they were supposed to be & bolts aligned as projected, making assembly as stress-free as possible. Our gazebo is now a beautiful, functional addition to our backyard. We have been delighted with every aspect of our purchase. From choice, to deivery, assembly to contributing to the aesthetic of our home, we couldn't possibly be more happy with our Backyard Discovery gazebo.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We had this put up in our backyard and love it, very sturdy and has great features like the black powder coating on all the metal on cider wood. This looks great and we get compliments all the time.

We did an "unboxing" and part sorting as a family to begin our barnraising of the Norwood Gazebo. With the exception of a few holes that needed a bit of drilling to ease the alignment the kit went together well over the course of about 4 days during a wave of 90 degree weather. My wife and young adult children all joined in the project and the experience was enjoyable overall. The quality of the cedar wood components and the hardware and exceptional brackets made the kit a great value. The design and engineering are superior and make the Norwood Gazebo a wonderful and practical addition to our property and outdoor lifestyle. Highly recommended!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this early last summer. Excellent customer service. Very quick delivery. Assembly instructions made for a quick and easy job for my brother and I. Within two days we were relaxing under the gazebo.

The instructions are extremely well. The best I've ever seen. The quality of the wood and hardware is extremely good. This far exceeded my expectations. I did not want an unfinished wood look.So I primed and painted the wood prior to building the structure

We purchased the Norwood 16x12 in June for our property close to the lake here in Montana. We just got it built a week ago with the help of friends who were able to come up and stay. With the 3 of them it took 2 days. It is fabulous. It provides great shade throughout the day and is a great place to sit and drink coffee in the morning. I'm just sorry it took so long to get it up because our time here for the season is coming to an end but knowing it will be here when we come back is great. We picked Backyard Discovery because of the weather rating. Winters in northeast Montana can be very brutal so we are hoping it holds up well. It is anchored in 3 ft footings and one of our friends that helped build it is a structural engineer and said he was very impressed with the materials and how strong it is. He's thinking about getting one. Everyone that drives by does a double take looking at it.

We have thoroughly enjoyed having morning coffee under our gazebo. We spend as much time as possible dining and entertaining under our Brindlewood 12X10 Gazebo. It’s turned our otherwise plain backyard into our own little getaway! It’s so sturdy which is important in the Gulf Coast. The tin roof keeps it shady and cool in the Texas heat. We highly recommend Backyard Discovery 12X10 gazebo.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Final product looks great. I purchased WITH installation but due to a hiccup in scheduling I chose to get a refund and tackle it ourselves. It did take us more hours than described, and more men to get the assembled roof on. Missing 1 screw and had to use several online assembly videos. Recently no problem holding up to 8” of snow.

It was too expensive to build a percent roof covering our back deck. This gazebo did the trick. We installed a sun shade to stop the evening sun so we can enjoy the tranquility of our back yard. And cookout without getting rained on. Would definitely buy again. I put most of it together by myself. You definitely need two or three people to slide the roof panels in place.
