Could use improvements

I bought my refrigerator a couple years ago and being such a short period of time, the main condenser had blown. However, there is some belief it had been bad from the start. Since it was repaired, the refrigerator is quieter, and my electric bill has gone down a little. For just a short period, the condenser should never blow out. It’s the same with all appliances, only made to last for a couple years, this is not good business practices. An appliance should be built to last a minimum of 15 years. this is how you keep customers.

The condenser failed on my refrigerator, otherwise I am happy with my LG. Waiting 2 weeks to get it repaired was hard on my family; but it was a logistical problem, that LG didn’t create. Lastly, it was the customer service team and the repair technician, that soothed my disappointment. Now, if I can receive my re-imbursement, for my losses, in a timely manner; All will be well, with me & LG. I will highly recommend their products, if they follow through on their promise. David G

Bottom Freezer with large capacity

We have had this since Sept. 2021. Only complaint is that the shelves are glass and rattle with glass bottles on them. Freezer compartment vibrates against side of unit and results in an annoying hum. Had tech out to fix and he was unable to fix problem.

Surprised how much more usable space

This new unit easily hold more due to the design, particularly in the door. The only area that was short was the space in the crisper drawers, which are shorter and not as deep in the new unit. The lower depth probably allows more door storage, but some additional height in the crisper drawers would be helpful.

I still think there need to be larger vegetable and fruit bins to accommodate things like broccoli, cabbage, and bags of citrus. Next design should have extra baskets for the freezer. Concerned about my refrigerator!

I bought my LG bottom freezer refrigerator last year. A small piece of plastic has broken from the top freezer drawer it holds the small white wheel in place. Have tried to get part was sent the wrong thing. Also the white plastic strip across the front bottom shelf keeps coming off. Nothing major but I’m afraid it will never last 23 years like my last one.

I have owned this for a little under one year. I like the features and have been pretty happy. Recently, the ice maker has gone on strike. Have requested a service call, we’ll see how that goes. From what I read, LG ice makers tend to have issues. Not a good reputation to have. I would expect them to resolve whatever the problem is. Making ice here, not going to the moon!!
