Customer reviews for LG 26 cu. ft. Bottom Freezer Refrigerator forCustomer photos
The amount of room!
Purchased this because our previous fridge just stopped working (not a LG product). I was only able to purchase 2 weeks worth of groceries at a time and I was hoping for more room. Not only does this hold a lot more than I expected, the top is also very spacious. For a 6 person household, it was much better than I imagined. It’s also more appealing than I expected. Easy to find everything and the shelves seem sturdy.
Love that Everything can be seen!
Purchased 30 days ago. As one would expect from a new appliance it is quite and efficient. Several reviews have stated that this model will stop working without notice - will post if that is indeed the case. I have had excellent luck with LG appliances so I have some confidence that this will not occur. Some of the features that I really like is the positioning of the drawer space - one can see everything in the cheese/processed meat space; the door space is well organized; as are the bins. Can adequately hold juices, condiments, butter etc.
Hello there, thank you for sharing your experience with the LRDCS2603S. It’s great to hear the refrigerator has been quiet, efficient, and easy to organize in your first month of use. The clear visibility in the drawers and well‑designed door storage really do make everyday use more convenient. It’s also reassuring to know you’ve had good luck with LG appliances in the past, and we appreciate your confidence in this model moving forward. #LifesGood ❤️ For further support, feel free to email lgdigitalcare@lg.sprinklrsupport.com. Nice design.
Our last fridge was a French door model and we found it to be inconvenient. We love our new LG single door 26 cu. ft. (33-inch) fridge. It's nice to be able to access the entire fridge at once. It's roomy and the shelving is well designed. We just wish LG made a 28 cu. ft. (36-inch) single door refrigerator/freezer. LG does make 36-inch French door refrigerators. It seems to me they could also make a 36-inch single-door model.
Bad design for filter replacement.
I bought this refrigerator about 4 years ago. At that time, Consumer Reports had it rated top dog. They couldn't be more wrong. I don't think they fully tested this model to discover the pitfalls it has. It totally quit in which I had to replace major parts to get it working again. (All under warranty at that time). My biggest complaint is that the ice maker has had trouble making ice from day 1. The repair man, here to fix the major problem, said that because of condensation around the interior keeps freezing up and forming big chunks of ice that prevents the ice maker from working. He said the only way to keep it working was to remove the rear panel to get access to the area of the ice build -up. Then remove the ice build -up. NOT PRACTICAL for 21st century appliances. I definitely wish that I had purchased a different brand. Im afraid I am stuck with this unit because of the amount I paid for it. No more LGs for me.
Salutations. We appreciate you reaching out and providing us with the feedback of your LG refrigerator. The icemaker is a great feature on this unit and we definitely want you to be able to continue enjoying it, especially during these hot days. We invite you to send us a private message via Social Media at @LGUSSupport with your personal details and this case number 235553969, so we can explore options on how to get your icemaker back to peak performance. ~Ivy
Very big
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I only bought this 2 weeks ago, I love that it is so big inside. Nice and cold in fridge. But the one disappointing item is that the stainless steel door has 2 rubber plugs in it so you can reverse the door handle, it just looks so weird and takes away from the appearance so much.
Great Bottom Freezer Refrigerator
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have been looking for just the right bottom freezer refrigerator and we found it in the LG. I love the size and so roomy inside. One of my favorites is the little shelf in the door on the bottom. Great for stuff I don't use a lot, but use so that little shelf is great!!!
Poor plastic quality and the door will have dents
The plastic drawers in the freezer and refrigerator are so cheap. The door shelves too. I have never in my 62 years had the plastic break on a refrigerator. For the price, I am very disappointed. I expect better but now days things are just made so cheaply and the prices are higher than ever. I just can't believe I have duct tape on the door compartments. I had the fridge less than a year when I had to add the duct tape. The plastic is thin. THe doors have little dents in them. CHEAP!!!. I would never buy this fridge again, but it was one of the few that would fit the space. We still have our 35 year old side by side in the storage room and the plastic on all of the drawers and door shelves are still JUST FINE. What is wrong with this company? A very dissatisfied customer.

This unit is less than two years old and this is the SECOND time i have lost food. The freezer just stops working. It is like it gets stuck in defrost mode or something. Also if you open the door to get something out and the door closes behind you the door will not open again for a little while. the suction holding the door closed is so strong you can move the entire refrigerator out pulling on the door trying to get it open.
Hi, there. We're truly sorry to hear about the recurring issues you've been experiencing with your LG refrigerator, specifically the freezer not working and the door suction problem. We can understand how frustrating and inconvenient this must be for you, especially considering that the unit is less than two years old. Regarding the freezer malfunction, it sounds like there might be an issue with the defrost system or a possible component failure. As for the door suction problem, the door gaskets or the door closure mechanism might be causing the excessive suction, making it difficult to open the door. To resolve these issues, we recommend the following steps: - Defrost the Refrigerator: If the freezer is stuck in defrost mode, try unplugging the refrigerator for a few hours to allow it to defrost completely. Then, plug it back in and monitor if the issue persists. - Check Door Gaskets: Inspect the door gaskets (the rubber seals around the door) for any signs of wear, tears, or damage. Dirty or damaged gaskets can affect the door's ability to seal properly. - Check Door Closure Mechanism: Ensure that the door hinges and closure mechanism are functioning correctly. If there's an issue with the mechanism, it can cause excessive suction when closing the door. - Contact LG Customer Support: As the unit is still under warranty, we recommend reaching out to LG customer support at @LGUSSupport on Facebook or Twitter. Provide them with the model and serial number of your refrigerator and a detailed description of the problems you are facing. They will assist you with troubleshooting and arrange for a repair or replacement, if necessary, to resolve the issues. We understand the importance of having a reliable refrigerator, and we apologize for any inconvenience you've experienced. Your satisfaction is our top priority, and we want to ensure that these issues are resolved promptly. Thank you for bringing this to our attention, and we appreciate your understanding as we work to rectify the situation and restore your trust in our products. ^Danee
Had issue right at 3 yrs
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought the LG refrigerator with a bottom freezer. We like the space it gives. However the compressor went out at 3 yrs old. Luckily the compressor was underer warranty. It is fixed now and good to go
