I bought this refrigerator 3 years ago and I have already had to have the compressor replaced. I replaced all my appliances with LG and so far the refrigerator failed, the stove display has gone out, the only thing left to fail is the dishwasher. I trusted the name of LG when I replaced all my appliances, however with as much trouble that I have had with my appliances and the service I received I will not purchase this brand again.

Performance Fine - Appearance, Not So Much
The product itself works just fine. The stainless steel is the worst material ever! Never looks clean. I am constantly cleaning it and you always see all the streaks no matter what method or stainless steel cleaning product I have used and I have tried many different ones! If you ever do get it looking clean, DON'T touch it! You cannot spot clean. Spend the extra money and get a KitchenAid!

DO NOT PURCHASE MAJOR APPLIANCES AT SAM’S
The water valve broke so had to call a plumber to repair. That was done within 24 hours. My refrigerator now sits in the box in the garage with no date of installation in sight. It’s been there for a week while my car now sits in the driveway. Sam’s club customer service claims they are at the mercy of RXO to install it. I purchased 6 major appliances and feel things could have been handled much, much better. I’ve called many times, no one returns calls with an update. My experience has been horrible and I DO NOT RECOMMEND purchasing major appliances through Sam’s.

Great product

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The geek squad is a very very professional team I put a 10 for the team but the subcontractors you guys sent me two days after he was very unprofessional guy my wife don’t know inglés and he don’t want to talk to me over the phone till I call he’s despaches personal if I was here I kick him out of my house he fix the problem but very unprofessional I think you guys should be more careful when you guys get subcontractors.. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My old fridge was still working, but after 21 years, I figured it was time to replace. Also, it was a top-freezer, so with bad back problems, twisting and bending to get to refrigerated items was difficult. So this new fridge is perfect for that. However, I take one point off because you can't put a milk jug or anything of that height on one of the shelves, they aren't tall enough. I had throw out my Britta pitcher because it wouldn't fit, and buy the smaller slim design style and use coveted door space. You're stuck with whatever room there is on the door, and that space fills up quickly. But I can adjust. However, I love that I can see and reach everything so easily. The freezer holds more than I thought it would, and is more organized than my old top freezer. I have to say though that I am crossing my fingers. I've heard horror stories about the compressors, but am hoping that they are limited to the models included in the past class action lawsuit. And I've read of other problems in these reviews, I'm hoping this one is as good as my old Maytag which ran without a hiccup for 2 years.

Possessed Refrigerator
Refrig worked great till Oct 2024....still waiting for a successful repair. 1st repair called for a compressor & when they came back about a month later, the new tech said it only needed a new control panel. Few days later, it was installed & it did not work. Had to come back to reinstall the old control panel which works for about 24 hrs after you unplug it for 20 minutes. Nov 24 & waiting fpr another control panel. Time off from work, spoiled food & the purchase of a small refrig & still having a problem.

First 2 damaged. 3rd one slides on the floor.
The first 2 refrigerators had damaged freezer door handles and never made it to the kitchen. Third one slides on the floor when opening the refrigerator or freezer door(s). Frig and freezer are full. Floor is level. Dissatisfied. Would like a solution.

lots of room
I bought this Refrigerator 4 years ago, 7/3/2020, worked great until last year,2023, stopped cooling, we had you come out and diagnose problem, you replaced compressor. worked great up until few weeks ago, same problem, not cooling or freezing again, same diagnosis was made, faulty compressor again, other than that it had alot of room inside.
