Installation was simple and the unit is attractive, although maybe a little bigger than I anticipated. I also expected it to be much quieter, which was maybe wishful thinking but it sounds like any other AC to me, not necessarily quieter or smoother like it was advertised.

I live in an old house with no option for central. I’ve bought several units in the past, and they are always so loud. The noise was my primary concern in selecting a new unit. Windmill is very quiet compared to anything else out there. It took about 2 minutes to install, is much more attractive in design and compact in size. Very happy so far.

Replaced our homes window air conditioners with 2 small and 1 medium Windmill units. It was super simple to install these units. The quality pair of scissors included with each unit was a nice bonus for cutting the foam to size. Have already noticed that the Windmill units run a lot less often and keep our home a lot more comfortable. So happy to have found these.

I have just purchased my second Windmill AC. As I am 79, installing on my own was not an option. Thanks to my wonderful super, who did the installation, I had cool air in two rooms of my apartment in 15 minutes! Windmill ACs are nice looking, work extremely well, and a great value.

The first window AC I would ever describe as “pretty”. I was able to install the smallest size by myself very easily, and it’s been working great to cool my bedroom ever since. It isn’t totally quiet, but it doesn’t have the droning buzz sound that most window AC’s have. I think my only complaint might be that there isn’t a “dry” setting like most other units have. I haven’t been missing it too much though.

I wish I could give them more stars! I had a technical issue with my unit and after troubleshooting it via email for 30 min I had a confirmation number with a brand new unit coming my way!! Insane costumer service!! Aside from that the unit itself is amazing! It sits in our living room so it’s been so nice to be able to hear the TV and not have cold air blowing directly on you. Quit and efficient machine!

What I love about this AC: I can sit near the AC unit and not have cold air blowing on me - it is directed up! It is truly the quietest window AC I have ever encountered. It was not as heavy as typical window AC's of the same size. While it is still an AC in the window in the middle of the room, it just looks nicer. It is much sleeker and modern looking, just not such an eyesore.

Hello!! We love our new Windmill A/C!!!!! It is absolutely all those great things that other reviewers described: beautiful aesthetically, easy to set up, very quiet & it cools our bedroom so that we can once again have a comfortable & good night's sleep!! Thank you to all involved in creating & supporting this more environmentally friendly air conditioner. I'm sure we will enjoy it for years to come! Oh, & one more thing: the unit arrived expeditiously once I had placed my order & I did receive several updates on the status/delivery. Good AC. Very impressed by Windmill Customer Service. They were very help and quick to answer questions about an issue with our unit. Promptly helped and provided multiple trouble shoot options upfront to avoid delayed communication. The 10K btu is one of the most impressive AC I’ve owed. We use it in a very large open concept living room kitchen with no issue. Radically improved our apartment life.
