By far one of the best AC units I’ve ever purchased. It’s truly remarkable how quiet it is. Also the support team they have is equally as amazing! I purchased 2 of the WhisperTech 8000 btu units from Costco, both arrived and one unit wasn’t functioning correctly. The support team was very friendly and helpful. With a couple emails they were able to replace my unit. I highley recommend this company and their products! I won’t be buying any other brand of AC units going forward. Absolutely amazing!

We had originally ordered two Windmill 8,000 BTU units and one was great but the other rattled and was quite noisy. We were disappointed since one of the selling points of Windmill is that they are quieter than most. Customer service worked with us to trouble shoot but nothing helped. They then sent us a second unit in a very timely manner, and with no hassle. I would recommend this product and company to anyone without reservation!!

As luck would have it, I received a defective AC the first time around. Product support got on it right away, with numerous communications. Today I received a full replacement (actually upgraded from 8.000 to 10,000 BTU's). It works like a charm and cools things off incredibly fast and efficiently! This is our first AC (hard to believe, as we are in our 70's and somehow got by with fans). We are total converts! Anyway, our whole experience with Windmill and the staff has been perfect. Purchased one from Best Buy. It’s didn’t work and due Best Buy’s ridiculous return policy I had to contact the Windmill consumer service. Excellent customer service and they took care of everything. Sent out a new unit and I couldn’t be happier. Purchased another unit for my house. Great product and super easy installation .

I've owned 4 Windmill window air conditioners for several years and highly recommend them. I'm a picky consumer and I do a lot of research and expect good quality and this is the only brand that I will buy. It's a family company that truly cares about their products and customer service. The units are very easy to install. The units disperse the cool air in a way that is much more effective than conventional units. The remote control and the app makes setting and making changes very easy. The app reminds you when to clean the filter and it's quick and simple. The overall design is attractive and it sits in your window looking pretty and doing its job while blending nicely into the background. If you have any questions or need any help their customer service is top-notch.

12k unit has had no issues cooling my entire apartment with the support of fans. The app has functioned flawlessly and the installation was a breeze. It took roughly 16hr to reach the furthest points away from the unit but 71-74 ° F has been maintained in 80-95 ° F outside temps. Thanks for ending this Michigan heat wave, maybe I don’t need central Air after all! WeOne star less only because the packaging was obviously an AC unit that could be spotted from a distance away.

I am not strong. Yet I was able to single-handedly install the 10K a/c by myself within an hour. When I turned it on, there was a little bit of noise. Now that it’s been two days, it’s basically silent. Highly recommend. I also love that the air blows out on the sides and not through the face — much more comfortable this way if you place it in front of your bed or desk. Really lovely design, both aesthetically and functionally.

My air conditioner gets more compliments than I do! It is the most aesthetically pleasing AC you’ll ever find. And, if you’re in it for more than just looks, the performance is excellent! Everything from how the AC is packaged (so thoughtfully) to the installation (so easy) to the functionality (so versatile with WiFi) is A-plus. Can’t recommend Windmill highly enough!

I've been telling everyone how happy I am with my Windmill AC. It is such a thoughtfully-designed product: energy efficient, whisper-quiet operation, visually appealing. I also love the fact that the cold air blows up at a 45-degree angle and can't believe every air conditioner doesn't offer this feature. It was worth every penny. The company's customer service is also terrific.
