we have installed three windmill a/c units. they are easy to install, effective, and attractive. one of the windmills did not work properly. Windmill replaced it for a new one very quickly without making me return the old one which was nice (although it did cost me $10 to recycle at the town dump.) very pleased with windmill.

I had an issue with my original purchase and one day the device stopped working on me. It just started blowing hot air during a heat wave. The product was only purchased less than a year and I was very disappointed. Out of all days, it stopped working during a heat wave. Nevertheless, as I reached out to windmill customer support they were able to expedite and resolve the issue immediately. Thank you for resolving my issue and saving me from this summer heat.

i bought two 8,000 BTU units for my apt (which is about 650 square feet) and they work so well! i have one in the living room and one in my bedroom, and it is MORE than enough to the point that i only run one at a time. installation was so easy. highly recommended.

The A/C is quiet and looks great but, it doesnt really get the room cold very well. Not a huge fan of the air up design but its not horrible its just I can turn it on and set it to high at the lowest setting and wont even feel much temperature difference for a few hours even though its the right size btu for my room. I wanted to love it, it was easy to install and to connect to on the app but it just doesn't do the one thing i needed, cool the room at a reasonable speed. I also was pretty disappointed by the filter, its only a few inches big in the center of the intake where as for the price and advertising of it i expected it to cover the entire area and not just a small portion in middle so it doesn't seem like itll do too much.

I’ve had my eye on Windmill since they first came out. Once it came time to purchase a new AC they were the only one on my list. So far, so good. I’m not disappointed with my purchase & more importantly my cat approves. It’s my first summer with her & I knew I wanted something I could control remotely to ensure she is comfortable while I’m working. Love the companion app & the option to use with Alexza since I have a smart home. Customer service has also been top notch. I don’t typically write reviews but wanted to show support to this New York based company. Partnership with Task Rabbit is also appreciated. Used them to install.

This is a very quiet A/C and I'm surprised that the major manufactures are not producing the same technology. It's so quiet that any little noise will make one wonder. So a couple of days after installing, I noticed a chirping sound and contacted customer service to make certain this is normal. (still was quieter than a traditional unit). It was determined that the sound is not normal and must have suffered shipping damage. Without hesitation I was sent via express delivery, another unit. This is quiet enough that I had to wonder how it could cool, but it does an excellent job of that as well. Our sofa is in front of the A/C and it doesn't bother at all. The air blows up, not out. I love the wifi feature and the app is simple without complicated graphics. This outfit knows how to do it and I am a 100% supporter! I'll be buying more for other rooms in our 1920's Washington DC Co-Op

We ordered our first windmill product about a month ago. Setup was really easy and the design of the AC unit is aesthetic. After a few weeks we had a issue with what we think is the compressor. We immediately reached out to the company and got a quick response. After troubleshooting a few things we realized that the unit had to be replaced. Customer service was top-notch and they really stood by their product. They shipped us a new unit and everything is working perfectly now. Would highly recommend to all.

Overall, I have been very happy with Windmill products - very smart invention to include sleek design and the covering of the side fan panels - how smart!!! Unit looks cosmopolitan installed and not messy. Everything fits pretty snuggly for a good look in the home.Thank you!

The customer service of this company is amazing. Sometimes. You take chances with smaller companies. And I’m so glad I took the chance with them. My room is ice cold and it’s amazingly quiet. I have the whispertech and it makes its promise. Any questions you have. They get back to you right away. Like. Right away. Maybe an hour response time. I love the product. I love the service.
