This is an absolute staple at my house. We have been eating it for years. It’s the best fried rice I have ever had. The edamame and bacon take it to the next level and make it so much more flavorful. I love that they have 6 smaller bags inside that are good for one serving, just add some steamed broccoli and you have a tasty meal for one. You can steam them in the microwave and they’re ready in minutes. They are definitely restaurant quality!!

This tastes NOTHING like chicken fried rice. The flavor from the bacon took over and it's just smokey flavored rice with other textures. It reminds me of a southern dish or something. Also...who adds BACON to chicken fried rice? I've never heard of that. Yes. Bacon is good, but it doesn't belong in this dish.

Not as flavorful even after adding soy sauce. I cooked mine microwave method. There’s a chance stovetop is better. That method would be time consuming plus mess up dishes. Not convenient. The flavor just wasn’t good. I threw it away. I also took rest to work in case coworkers wanted it. Those coworkers that forgot lunch and were “desperate”.

I have only made it on the stove so can’t comment on the results after microwaving, but after cooking on stove it’s not a bad meal. It’s definitely not heavily seasoned, but it’s easily doctored up with some teriyaki and hoisin sauce. Is it as good as fried rice in the restaurant? No, but it’s better than most frozen meals. It’s a quick dinner that’s affordable.

I've never had chicken fried rice before and I like it it's a bit on the dry side though and I have to add diced chicken and a little extra salt and pepper. I think with a little bit of chicken broth it would really kick it up a notch. But for someone like me who travels on the road it's simple to either put in a microwave or quickly stir fry so I would buy this again.

It’s been out of stock for awhile at my Sam’s Club, but it’s one of my favorites!! It’s great for a quick and easy lunch! I think it tastes great and love that it even has egg bits mixed in! It is a little salty so you don’t need to add extra, and it doesn’t exactly taste like the kind you would get at a restaurant but I love it! I would absolutely recommend!

This stuff is pretty good. 3 min in the microwave and you're ready, but it's not like a lot of microwave meals that have weird textures. Personally, I like to add a bit of extra chicken to the mix, just to take it up a notch. You can add all sorts of thing to this to change it up a bit, but it's real tasty just as it is.

We have gotten chicken fried rice from Sam’s as a quick meal for years. It’s not great but it works with other quick prep meals. Now, they’ve added bacon and it’s terrible. Even my 15 year old son who will eat ANYTHING said it was bad. The chicken is a cheaper cut and doesn’t taste good either. Will not be purchasing this again!!

I’m so excited to see this back in the store! It’s in a difference box but make no mistake, it’s the exact same rice as the brand that was previously sold at Sam’s club. So good and such a quick and easy meal! You literally tear off a piece of the bag and microwave for 3 minutes but I recommend shortening the cooking time by about 15-30 seconds depending on the wattage of your microwave!

I don’t do reviews unless I really have something to say about a product. This rice is really good for frozen. I can’t even express that enough. It’s FROZEN. Usually I can’t even reheat Chinese food from the day before. Here’s my super tip. Try it and I promise you will love it. Go ahead and heat the rice in the microwave according to the box. Then melt some butter, sauté some onions and garlic until they are soft and translucent; throw the rice in and fry for 2 minutes or until you’re satisfied with the texture. Tastes like Benihana! I eat this all the time.
